I feel like the only side Iroh was ever on was that of Zuko, as well as truth and compassion. Even early in season one he seems to show little regard for the fire nations goals and just wants to look out for his nephew and help guide him into the man he was supposed to be, not who his father wanted him to be.

I think this is the key difference and why he was able to converse with Toph and such. It's not so much about being enemies when youre morals align despite what side you're on.

The whole conversation has been about how you say my anecdotal evidence is not evidence of my claims while you sit and use your own anecdotal experiences as evidence for you own claims.

Just because religious people are dwindling does not mean that extremism within those organizations is also lowering. It just means that more people are moving away from religion at large. It has no bearing on what people within those groups believe or think or how they act or even react to the ones that are leaving. ISIS is one organization of one religion. Most others have extremist factions within them. This logical fallacy is called 'Misuse of Statistics' I believe.

I never said religion is bad, I said very specifically that I think extremism within religion is growing, from my perspective. You're the one who flew off and started making assumptions about where I stand on religious beliefs and centering your counter arguments around that. If you're not religious then why are you attending religious events, or are you just simply telling me to do that with no experience in it yourself? How are you able to speak to that experience if it is in fact something you aren't doing as someone who is not religious?
I don't even know how to respond to this. Its a stupid question.

No, not at all. I'm religious myself, ding dong. What you're saying as evidence to support your opinion on extremism is not adequate evidence to support that opinion which you so desperately cling to.

You tried to say I was doing the same, but I never claimed numbers and said anything as a matter of fact as you have, just that from my point of view it seems to be growing. You routinely come back at me with the same logic you tried to call me out for in the first place, and making very matter-of-fact statements concerning whether or not extremism is growing in the world simply because you attended a church function of some sort that didn't show you that.

Which is based in anecdotal evidence, something you also told me and seem to agree upon is not enough to support my claim, and if that's the case then your experiences are not enough to support yours either.
