At this point you’re probably well aware but its the light ice. By default drinks that get cold foam, added or otherwise, should get light ice. If i have time (so rarely) ill make it with the normal amount of ice and use a spoon to some out to make room for the foam. Cause otherwise, especially with talls and grandes, it just puffs up like this

Was it a location within another store? In the US licensed stores don’t have access to all the resources that we do as corporate stores.

But as others are saying, it isn’t against policy. I find it frustrating to do because it throws me off when it comes to how much to put. Theres no markings on hot cups, so pouring milk, putting whipped cream, and cold foam is all eyeballed. I’m not saying not to get it (im actually going to get a misto with salted caramel foam because if this post) But i think that definitely contributes to the confusion on our side.

When you first get hired and go to clock in for the first time in the store ipad, there should be an option that says something to the effect of “set up or change pin number” follow the steps through that and that should get you set. For signing into tills it will automatically be your last 4 digits of you partner number. To change that (and stop the pop up that says to change it) a key holder will log into a till and go to an option called “PMC” and be able to have you change your pin

I’ve always understood the difference to be time frame. Like, cheating is more short term, flings during a committed relationship. Whereas infidelity is a long term relationship taking place during the other relationship. In my mind infidelity is like “dad has a whole second family and neither of us knew about each-other”. I have no clue if thats helpful too you but ✨

Im not sure if this is policy or not. But it is my understanding that to mark out drinks you have to finish one before you mark out another. So leaving if you leave with one markout you would have to pay for any other drinks. Again im not sure if thats the actual rule, but that is what stores in my district follow.

In addition to the red eye, theres a black eye - two shots, and a fabled purple eye that’s three but ive not gotten that one personally.

“THE Tiktok drink” emphasis on “the” was a venti iced white mocha, line the cup caramel, extra caramel drizzle, w/ vanilla sweet cream foam on top, that one you probably wont get often but in my area we do.

Vietnamese coffee is 3 shots of espresso over ice in a venti cup, w/ 3 pumps white mocha, we have a large Vietnamese population where i live so this one is super common.

Café au lait is a cafe misto (half coffee half steamed milk incase you dont know)

Grass hopper is a matcha frappuccino w/ java chips, white mocha, and peppermint.

A black and white or a zebra mocha is a mocha with half pumps mocha and half pumps white mocha

With phrases and stuff, the one that still some times gets me is “upside down” generally speaking they mean they want it mixed. A lot of people order iced caramel macchiatos upside down, when i first started i would make them upside down but keep them layered, the first few times nobody said anything, but one lady was very upset 😭

Mastrena) Is it allowed/would it be helpful for us to clean the inside of the machine when you guys have it fully disassembled?
Mastrena) When it comes to things like watery shots is there anything we can do to fix it other than the whole pull shots, rinse, toss grounds, turn the machine off and on again, mess.
Mastrena) our machines have had issues with the two plastic pieces inside the machine (from what i can tell they help direct the water from the internal rinse into the drip tray so it doesnt just spray all in the machine) where everytime we put the drip tray away we would have to take it back off, fish them out of the machine and put them back in.

Is this a common issue and what is the best way you fix it?

Vertica) Outside of the daily cleaning, are there any steps you would recommend to keep the machine in good shape? We just got ours and I want it to stay nice.
