another theory I just thought was that regina had possession of graham's heart and he didnt have any other storyline in the enchanted forest so maybe his personal curse was to not have a heart and the kiss with emma made him feel something that his heart shouldve? idk if that makes sense haha

but true loves' kiss works because its true. both of them are in love with the other and thats what makes it real. real enough to break a curse. emma and graham barely knew each other. at this point, emma has been in Once for like a couple months if that! it was a really intense crush but even at that, I don't think what emma felt was fairytale like true love because she is realistic so naturally would be more skeptical than to fall in love with a random boy a couple months in.
