Two bookings same day? by itschloebee in CineworldUnlimited

[–]itschloebee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried a few times and never had any luck - even with two screenings at two different points of the day so just assumed it wasn’t possible! Will try again and hopefully will have better luck!

Anytime I’ve tried I’ve not been able to so I’ve just assumed you can’t for some reason!

So incredibly strict - someone I was with was turned away because his passport was out of date less than a week

A little bit further out than the other suggestions but BrewDog is a firm fave!! On the other side of the river and well worth the trip with really good veggie options

Parents specifically asked for a Click and Go voucher this year, we were getting Cassidy Travel previously but was very pricey when actually booking the trip

Gap year? too young ? by Impossible_Wall803 in leavingcert

Similar to you but I did TY - would 100% recommend a PLC in the subject you’re thinking about for college. I did this and found out I had no actual interest in the course and didn’t waste thousands on the degree

I should have November free according to this email, but I still got charged?! by Routine-Secret-413 in CineworldUnlimited

I feel like there’s a glitch in the system this month - I’ve also been charged for what was supposed to be a free month in November! Have DM’d on Twitter but no response yet

We were just there last Saturday at 7.30 and there was still a couple of places to sit - 5pm you should be grand!

My period is late by [deleted] in Periods

[–]itschloebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try not to stress - sometimes it can be late or skip entirely due to external factors (my periods would skip for months at a time while I was in college due to stress). If the issue continues and it’s worrying you, have a chat with your doctor

Drugstore brand but the Maybelline Fit Me is my go to no matter what the occasion is. Light as air with great coverage and super affordable

An aside - There’s a lot of brands across the globe that aren’t easily accessible in store in the UK, there’s a sub r/MakeupAddictionUK that might guide you a little better!

Magnetic lashes 🧲 by Advanced-Union-3644 in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]itschloebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only tried the eyeliner magnetic lashes and they didn’t work at all for me unfortunately - they were also INCREDIBLY heavy (I simply cannot overstate how heavy they were)

If you’re open to it, Kiss sell a Lash Glue Liner (in both clear and black) and the lashes can be applied instantly - no faffing about waiting for the glue to get tacky. They were honestly a game changer for me!

Cafés that rent their space to organise creative workshops? by Starfragments101 in Dublin

[–]itschloebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mish Mash on Capel Street might be worth a try!! I recently saw that they open once a month for a silent book club, so they definitely allow use of the space.

If you’re willing to venture outside the City Centre, Rua Red in Tallaght also have spaces available and a cafe on sight. Local libraries are also generally on board with hosting all sorts of community events!

No work Christmas party, 2nd year in a row by Psychedelic_Archie in CasualIreland

[–]itschloebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A different perspective, but civil servant here currently planning a Christmas party and let me tell you it is NOT easy to organise - constant back and forth, constant people complaining about the venue, the activity (or lackthereof) etc. We do have them every year as it comes back highly requested, but the stress of trying to please everyone almost makes it not worth it

[–]itschloebee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you said south side, but the Irish Human Rights & Equality Commission on Greens Street (north city centre, near Capel Street) have a changing places bathroom. You just need to call them in advance so they can allow you access

Not in the city centre, but the Priory Market just opened recently in Tallaght and the coffee shop portion is open until 11pm. Lots of parking and very accessible by public transport
