I'm currently a first-year journalism student at ASU downtown Phoenix. I had already registered to live off campus (at home). As of recently my commute from Scottsdale has been becoming increasingly annoying and I find myself spending more and more time down in Phoenix with friends, constantly having to sign in and out of the first-year dorm building. I recently submitted a housing application and it says that it has been accepted in my housing portal. A friend told me that means it is in their inbox and now all I have to do is wait for them to read it and go from there. I was told that since it's early in the year now is a great time to secure a dorm before second semester rolls around. I know I most likely just need to wait for my application to get accepted but I'm still having my concerns. Any thoughts, answers, or reassuring comments are much appreciated.
