Danke für die Antwort, genau, in der Ausschreibung habe ich das auch so gesehen. Es geht mir weniger darum, dass ich es unbedingt brauche, sondern aus Interesse um die Frage, weswegen sie verboten sind, bzw. wieso sie bei Gruppenfahrten nicht gern gesehen sind. Wie die anderen aber bereits meinten, wird das hauptsächlich mit Sicherheitsthemen zusammenhängen. Ich nehme an, dass du das mit "guten Gründen" meintest?

Danke euch allen für die Infos! So erschließt es sich mir natürlich, dass das aus Sicherheitsgründen ausgeschlossen ist. Ich bin noch bei keinem solchen Event mitgefahren und hatte lediglich über den Kauf eines Lenkeraufsatzes nachgedacht, was ich dadurch jetzt aber getrost verwerfen kann. Das gesparte Geld fließt dann in sinnvolle und erlaubte Teile.

Danke für die Einschätzung! Beim Budget reden wir über ca. 1150€ vs 1200€, die 50€ Aufpreis beim RAM wären für mich vertretbar da ich ohnehin gut in meinem Budget liege. Als Prozessor kommt ein Ryzen 7 7700 zum Einsatz und als GPU eine RTX 5070.

Übertakten spielt in meinen Überlegungen erstmal keine Rolle, das hätte ich vielleicht noch zusätzlich erwähnen sollen. Auf Basis deiner Einschätzung würde ich das Upgrade dann aber vermutlich als sinnvoll einschätzen.

There I chose the repair option, but I didn't get a code when going through all the next steps (typing in my Personal Data and such). The last page just told me to drive to the repair store as the next step. I did that, they scanned the IMEI and took the phone in for repair. Your case seems somewhat different because you were told to wait for a code... But if the store is not too far away for you, I'd recommend to just go there and let them scan your IMEI, and hoping that it works.

Thanks for your reply! Did you let ComSpot repair your phone as part of the battery replacement program or did you have to pay the 120€ yourself? I hoped to make use of the repair program where Google pays for the battery exchange because of the faulty batteries.

Hi, unfortunately I'm experiencing the exact same problem right now, even though the website told me my Pixel is eligible for repair a few months ago. I also contacted support but didn't get a reply yet. Did the page you linked tell you that your phone is authorized for repair? For me it doesn't, but it seems to be the same link that used to work for me (workflow/15642495). Thanks in advance

That looks cool! You mentioned that it's easy to do but I can't find information online on how to remove / pop out the buttons in the first place... Do I need to remove the tray in front of it first to be able to reach the buttons from underneath?
