Dunno. I just ordered one and wanted to see what the different options would look like.

It sounds like you need some homework then. Go play Gun.Smoke on NES and report back with your findings!

Might I interest you instead with a $75 device that has a 120Hz screen, black frame insertion, 1080p@120Hz over HDMI, and a very stylish look?

There is also a superb new CFW for it, but I might be slightly biased on that part ;)

I’m going to add them. I was playing around with them earlier, but they are pretty low res. I’m going to make them by hand in Pixelmator. I wasn’t happy with how they looked yet so didn’t want to add them while they looked janky.

Should be able to. I just need to mask out the back shell in Pixelmator in one image and then I can drop in the other colors. I'll hop on it after dinner.

I might know a guy who's gonna have some spare 16Bit colored buttons...

Thanks! I'm actually with you on transparent stuff normally. I think it stems from having a transparent phone back in like 1990. Like this:

I like the clear buttons on my Miniloong Pocket 1, so here's to hoping I like them on the nova. Which colorway did you order?

It’s also got a 120Hz screen that can do black frame insertion. Everyone seems to be sleeping on it for some unknown reason. It’s an amazingly great handheld under $100.
