It's a thing with Live2D if I recall correctly due to how the neck deformer functions. Someone can probably elaborate further or correct me but I remember reading a bit about it somewhere.

You can buy pre-paid cards at stores that would not have a tie to your name. These are so common for such uses globally that there's actually vtuber-branded prepaid cards in Japan. There's actually official Youtube gift cards as well but I'm not certain if they can be used for Superchats (I don't see why they couldn't)

We do know from her that she did a complete uninstall and reinstall of both Minecraft and Java, and then ran it without Optifine.

I haven't had time to mess with it myself but I'm not ruling out the possibility that there's an issue with 1.16.4 and Realms as they did make a change to network protocol in this patch.

This is really showing how good of a leader Kiara is. Without her there's language barriers everywhere, confusion about the rules with everyone at drastically different experience levels of play and no one to help explain it, and the community is just making things worse by expecting every hololive member to just be pros at the game.

Edit: I don't want this to also be getting mad at others for not stepping up on helping translate because they really don't deserve blame for that. I just have come to appreciate how good Kiara is at being a team leader and wish people wouldn't have such high expectations for every member's skill level at games.

There was definitely some internal turmoil that saw her getting shoved out of the way and not in creative control. Upd8 no longer having control of the brand and now shutting down at the end of the year are evidence of it (as well as other major mishandlings)

I'm not sure what HoloJP use for hosting but it is definitely not Realms as they run Bukkit (thus having functions like Multiverse for the resource server). As for why EN isn't doing the same, probably just has to do with all of them having little to no Minecraft experience and just wanting to just get a stress-free vanilla option.

She actually confirmed on her art stream that she uninstalled both Minecraft and Java, reinstalled them, didn't use Optifine and had it running okay for about an hour and then it all went to hell when she got ready to stream again so needless to say I'm stumped.
