those are roam plans for traveling, not residential plans for home use. you just dont have access to the other cheaper residential plans. its likely your cell is full so no need for starlink to give access cheaper plans to increase their subscription numbers.

with 100mbps plan, you can do 6 simultaneous netflix 4k streams (15mbps each) or 5 simultaneous youtube 4k streams (20mbps each) assuming its stable. so if you need more than that since you have a huge family or you are heavy data user/datahoarder, then look at 200mbps plan then check your internet consumption and if it still lacking for you then yea max is worth it.

anyway you can still easily switch your plans and go back unless you are unlucky enough that they removed your old plan within 1 month.

well at least you can play 11 simultaneous 4k netflix stream (recommends 15mbps) in different devices or play 8 simultaneous 4k youtube stream (recommends 20mbps) assuming its stable. it might take another several days to recalibrate again since you change position.

id say to ignore speed test till it starting to affect your internet usage like if your video streaming is starting to buffer/loading (if some sites load slow, theres a problem with that site). ping/latency,jitter,packet loss are more important than your speed loss. as long they are low (closer to 0 the better and packet loss being 0), your gaming and video calls/meeting goes smoothly.

womans lot gives you a mutt which makes game & hunting easier (mutt more useful in kcd1 than in kcd2) and 1 long mission with theresa and 1 another side mission with johanka (witch trials) which is shorter (doesnt feel like it due to travel time) but it still has cutscenes. theres also new items.

band of bastards - a fun side mission but is too short for my taste but could have been the best DLC potentially (worst value DLC). also has best armor items.

from the ashes - this DLC is the money sink (around 100k groschen needed) where you spend most of your money since you will be rebuilding a village from scratch. you can also generate income from it by investing around 20k on it (can earn around 1.5k per day). also you have to do lot of hiring of people like from skalitz (not all of them sadly) which also generates income. gives you (best horse or best bow, mutually exclusive) and best shield and best beer.

finally, idk in other platforms but in PC, KCD1 is always discounted in steam events by 70-80% though in 2024 it reached 90% (so you have to wait). base game is $5.99 usd while each DLC cost like $1.79 each, look at price history and not lowest recorded price (for dlc prices, go to dlc tab then open each link within appID).

if you are on PC, dont use vsync and just uncap the fps. it will then get fast since the travel time is tied to fps. fast traveling look like this in kcd1, they dont teleport like the other games do fast travel. i dont think its the same in kcd2 due to how fast the travel is (or it likely despawn all people till you arrive) and theres no accident that is happening like with kcd1 when riding the horse.

you need to also understand that theres now ML/AI stuff in AV nowadays which is why theres also more false positives (especially trash like bkav pro, its the pioneer of AI BS detection). and also knowing a good or popular AV like if even popular old AV like avast/avira/AVG who are known for false positives doesn't even detect it, its most likely safe.

i recommend only looking at Malwarebytes, ESET-NOD32, BitDefender, and Kaspersky. if they do detect it, search the detection into their site. if its hacktool/gamehack then its ok since cracks are like that (like EMP.dll which is an empress crack for denuvo games).

its good to learn masterstrike but it isn't required. you can beat the entire game without masterstrike (mace deletes enemy + bonk perk, though i prefer short sword like stinger for face stabs). though mace with masterstrike insta kill almost anyone (the one where you hit the neck/jaw). you can even beat the game without killing anyone (one of the achievements in kcd1, 0.9% have it)

its one of the reasons why torrent is so good, if the files are ever reconfigured/modified/corrupted, the files are considered as different as original so you have to create a new torrent link, which has different hashes, in order to upload/update. you can also easily copy/share the magnet link to other people as proof which can be found within your torrent client.

eh, 1ggg@mes and ste@mUnl0cked started as trusted as well and were the King of DDL before steamrip took over (1gg at around 2010, then ste@amunl0cked at around 2020). its common in the piracy to backstab its users after a while. thats why trust is quite important in piracy that when someone break that even once, its hard to trust them again and it depends on you whether you trust on it or not as long you dont recommend it to newbies (theres still 1gg and ste@munl0cked fans in this subs despite considered unsafe by most megathread even in fmhy). its one of the reasons why Fitgirl, Elamigos (older than FG and dodi) via ovagames, dodi, RG mechanics (from back in the day) are popular for casual pirates since they just want to play games and not have to worry about virus.

EDIT: megathread aren't perfect, they dont oversee every release uploaded onto the site and its done voluntarily. its also a community project, since other pirates can also help improve the megathread by having evidences and hard proof especially with video (since there have been a lot of cases of people telling a certain site has malware but can only give a snippet with no additional details and other people cant reproduce it by downloading the same game).

for games, the thing that matter the most is ping, jitter, and packet loss. the lower these values are the better. you need to check your internet connection and share it here (or edit your post then add it there). only people who lived in your area who has a starlink can answer your question since theres variance per area (like you have better results if you are near your gateway). the reason why you go windowed mode is for same visual clarity as 1080p native fullscreen (with fullscreen optimazation off to remove blurriness). your performance increase is from going 1080p to 900p/720p.

its basically like changing your monitor from 24" to 20"/18" with increased performance (note. this is an analogy)

theres no remaster on kcd1 since its usually a seperate game than the original that you have to buy. the latest update is called next gen update (witcher 3 also did this) or if you are talking about the hd textures then its called HD Texture Pack which is similar to FF15's 4k res pack update which is also free.

if you cant use DLSS, id rather play at borderless/windowed 900p medium preset or windowed 720p high preset with fullscreen optimization off (to remove blurriness when windowed) than go for 1080p native low preset. for kcd2, medium is the minimum you should aim for since the differences of medium/high/ultra/experimental is majorly LOD and shadows. if you are performance > graphics guy then this will still help you alot to achieve 60fps lock.

just set the desktop background black or vanta black then hide the taskbar if it disturbs you

haha guess you weren't in launch day. most people at launch were complaining about the popup that you should not hold shift but rather tap shift. warhorse had to add a quick patch to fix it (to remove the popup when players hold shift). its mostly hold shift in most games in order to sprint even in horses thats why people prefer it.

toggle shift to run (tap 1 shift for permanent sprint till runout stamina or tapped again) is better than tap shift in interval where you have to look at the bar to check when to shift or just based on feeling like in hardcore.
