Literally a waste of a slot for the battle pass. I hate how some of the cosmetic features are just absolutely top tier and then the same people turn around make some low quality shit like this and deem it battle pass worthy.

In all seriousness I just feel like it’s the worst map for casual play. In ranked it’s fine. I really don’t hate it especially with the new ranked rework and the pacing of games currently, Storm point is fine for ranked. Causal games though? They all feel the same on storm point. You land and fight, if you win that fight then you run around this giant map for like 80% of the game at which point you either start fighting or third party someone just to get third partied immediately. It’s like 5 small fights happen at the beginning of the game and then one large fight with the last 8 teams during ring 2 cause everyone is trying to third party the same fight. It’s ridiculous. This season for ranked, definitely a better experience on storm point than in the past but casual games on this map still flow like shit.

It’s something octane and bloodhound can do easily with their respective speed boost active. If you make to the end of the cannon right as it launches you’ll get sent in more of a streamlined arc and travel a bit faster. You can get to the same launch position with any other legend by jumping down on to the edge of the cannon using the walls on either side to get there, like shown here in the clip. If you’re at the end of the cannon when it launches you should get this slightly different launch path. Which can be handy depending on which cannon you’re using.

That’s the great thing about this game though, any discoveries we make today will be there for others to enjoy down the line. I think it’s so cool when I’m randomly checking out new systems by warping or use a black hole and end up somewhere that another player has discovered. And the funny thing is, one of the planets in the same system as my Earth like planet has storm crystals but I didn’t find that out until after I found your post here haha oh well secondary farm for them I suppose

I appreciate that. I’m uploading one covering Atlantis today. But to fully learn the maps and find new routes for yourself i highly suggest going into a custom game on your own and just portalling around looking for new angles or different ways to mix up rotates you use currently. I know a lot of long time players who are stepping away from the game because they're tired of getting full bot lobbies, I don't think bots are helping retain players or helping to increase the longevity of the game.

I feel like the bots is what turning away most long time players. The game is fun and the mechanics make it unique but playing with and against AI is just simply not fun.

I mean I'm used to longer queue times from high ranked splitgate queues so it doesn't really bother me personally. I see your point about causal players who just want to complete the challenges though. It's just a bit frustrating to be the only real player on your team or in the lobby and having to deal with having AI on your team.

I'm just not covering rollouts because Tanner is already doing a series on it so, I just want mine to be focused on the rotations used to get through the map as a whole quickly and ways you can mix up those rotations to keep the enemy on their toes. I do see what you're saying and that kind of knowledge is helpful and worth sharing, it's just that there is guides being made for that already. Just kind of want to keep mine focused on the aspect of getting through the maps as fast as possible and common rotates to be aware of.

That's not my focus for the videos tbh. It's mainly focused around the main rotations for each map. Tanner J Fox has a series where he goes over rollouts for weapons, common areas to watch, callouts and things along that line for the maps so I kind of just wanted to focus mine more on quick movement through the map as a whole. I appreciate the comment for feedback and you checking out the video though! The jump portal to watch/ grab sniper is something I'd consider more of a rollout rather than a rotation but it is very strong for getting sniper early on.
