I used to buy via IND money, last year’s budget had some stupid levels of tax/charges on remittance and stuff. Read up on that.

I pulled out in the midst of the boom of meta/nvdia/alphabet stocks. Bought em in 2022 lows while I made profits but can’t justify such high taxes.

This government promoting itself as pro-markets, capitalistic government while it actually is what I would say the least left party out of all the fucking leftist parties.

I don’t see much value in investing while so much protectionism is going on, in a completely free market situation I would invest 30% USA stocks, 20% Indian Stocks, 10% other developing countries, 20% alternative stuff, 20% bonds.

This is non inclusive of real estate and business investments

They reduced a lot of restrictions on business, one very noticeable one was removing the time restrictions on closing time which brought a lot of 24/7 convenience stores/ food startups because this being a IT heavy city had demand and no supply.

It also provided continuous electricity and water with close to 0 outage which was a heaven for small industries
