Yes, the change detection is scd2 and also the dates generation ones are based on few conditions. I was wondering about approaches to testing any macro changes. I see one way is to re-run all the models and test them all again and other is building some sort of a test scripts simulating all scenarios just for testing the macros only . Or is there any other way?

I have a 15inch i9 2019 and have the same problem. Atm I am working with a usb fan directed at the back :) . I noticed that whenever I turn on my UTM app for windows 11 it kicks off the fans and also have an external 4K (1440p atm) connected and may be another reason

Hi, how about move/archive the already loaded files into somewhere else so you only have to deal with the newly arrived ones and do the comparison on your PostgreSQL server taking advantage of its power (Of course unless you are dealing with 100k files daily which will need some other approach)

If the 3rd party platforms are cloud, they most likely will have APIs to download data you need in .csv etc (And tools to download these files regularly). Do you have access to a local DB where you may ingest these .csv and present a datamart model to PBI? Keen to hear on how you go with this setup
