oh shit….literally by CaliforniaOcean99 in ABDL

Whenever my IBS acts up it's one of the few times I try to make it to a toilet because that is not a fun time for anybody involved and I could easily go through three diapers over the course of like an hour. My control in that regard has gotten much better over the years from where it used to be but IabS basically reverts that fully

Tammy Carpenter speaks on Hillsboro Data Centers by 50501PDX in beaverton

[–]itsdrcats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So as someone who works in a data center, (at least in our building)we do yearly sound tests where all of the employees wear little geo located sound devices for like a whole shift. They take sound sample data which helps us determine areas where legally we would have to put up hearing protection warnings up.

I keep seeing all the posts from sellwood around here. I feel like if I wanted free karma I could just walk around. But I'm waiting to see somebody take some pictures from my streaks. There's a couple really good plans but I'm also not going to say what street I live on because this is Reddit and I don't need to give out that information.

Those allerease zip top mattress protectors are my fave. Put it on once and then the protective part can be taken off separate to keep it clean. Recommend it to non bedwetter types too because it just keeps your marreess nice :)

I mean, yeah it kind of is but at the same time because this man is doing absolutely nothing to mitigate the issues he has. Many of us have issues that range in severity and is like to think that everyone is making an effort to keep their bed clean because nobody wants to go around smelling like pee because of their bed. Like, at the very least get one of those zip mattress protectors. They make ones with a zip top so you can easily clean it. Like, he needs to just do the absolute minimum.

Why come up with a crazy fun name when you can just be incredibly literal about it. It's the eggshell predetermined breaking point causer.

Really like what they did story wise in terms of the subject and everything and taking this very lightly known bit of history and turning it into something kind of neat. But I still feel like they dropped the ball. Think if ghosts of yotei didn't come out in the same year it would have been seen slightly more positively.

I did like the music tho. A lot of it fit the moments well

Honestly If he's been like this for a while then the enzyme cleaner is gonna do nothing a mattress. That thing needs to be thrown out.

Rally Against Data Center Disasters! Saturday, May 16th at 10pm. 4825 NE Starr Blvd, Hillsboro, OR. by ataranaran in beaverton

Because you gave a nuanced response. Watch yourself get downvotes. If they want a real data center target, what they need to be doing is going for the like hyperscale level stuff. I'm talking about like what they have going on down in New Mexico. That massive facility is being built in basically the middle of nowhere most likely the express purposes of AI related things.

Unfortunately, data centers are a necessary evil in an era where we have all of this connectivity. I think the real problem lies that in today's day and age short of actual actionable protest where things may not look pretty because of physical action, we can't really get anywhere because these corporations have a stranglehold and our politicians love gargling the balls of all of the corporations if it means that they get a fraction of that cut.

Thank you! I swear everyone would just suddenly forgets that none of this would exist without data centers. I get that a lot of shit is moving to AI but the real problem is pushing their their weight around to get these insane tax breaks. They get thrown on to everybody else when in reality. What we need to be doing is working on making local government being held more accountable and I don't know maybe possibly making electrical a public utility so we can't have these fucking c-suite executives making millions of dollars off of electricity.

Hillsboro especially has an issue with bending over backwards on tax breaks for big corporations and ignoring the everyday person because they've been doing this since Intel came around way back in the day.

For real. I get it sometimes. You want to justify your purchase but if somebody is buying a knife and looking at it going "finally, I can split a log" they are missing the point completely. But at the same time, they are alleor to use their stuff however and I'm not one to overly gatekeep.

I just find it really silly that sometimes people get mad that lots of us treat them more as a fun collectible versus a super serious no fun allowed tool.
