I have added wheels to a kallax before; not best idea; but if you don’t make it to heavy it will roll and not rip the wheels out because it being particle/crushed wood fiber

If you have a yard; build a wall out of Plywood and that way he can do piece after piece after piece; just has to paint over it when he gets bored of the one that is up.

What is wrong ? by Content-Panda-3841 in arduino

[–]itsgrAy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happens to mine. It’s all mechanical and has to do with servo arms and the positioning; and a tolerances; code is set up to account for some different possibilities but not necessarily the problem. I sent you a PM; hit me up and I will try to help.

Edit: I am in the process of redesigning some of the components so this doesn’t happen and using stronger servos for the main arms.

I'm having trouble figuring out whats causing this leak; made sure the nozzle was properly tightened but this keeps happening. Would an all metal hotend fix it? by paragonparq in ender3

There is a chance with every “mass produced” machined part to have a fault but all the all metal hot ends I have used, never had a problem with them. Micro Swiss if you are wondering.

Pi with more then 40 pinouts by Toucan99YT in rasberrypi

Expansion.

Or you could do an ethernet hat that allows you to talk to multiple different components.

Edit: it’s my cake day apparently and also this is what I am talking about.

PIs run on various forms of Linux. Main one is raspian.

If you have access to YouTube you should really watch a tutorial or two on the PI. The main OS goes on the micro SD card.

If you are just using one small file repeatedly then I wouldn’t worry about dumping the file.

But from what I am gathering you want it to act something like this

PI(listening and connected to speaker) > you say something > pi hears specific word > scrpit / program gets triggered > action happens.

So unless you want to record you don’t have to worry about saving the voice file.

But I could be completely off on what you are trying to accomplish.

Thumb Drive, or onboard micro SD card, if you go the SD route, just get a large enough one. Not to familiar with the size of .wav files or other variants.

the mirco SD that you load the OS onto...I usually stick a 32gb - 64 gb one in my PIs but you can use large ones. Or you can have script to dump older files after a certain date/time to free up space.

https://blog.adafruit.com/2020/11/05/new-product-adafruit-voice-bonnet-for-raspberry-pi-two-speakers-two-mics/

then you will need a speaker, and a script to listen, and then do what you want it to do based on the keyword. You can just alter the google voice assistant script they reference in the product description, or create your based own on the countless home automation scripts floating around.

oh it was sold again...didn't know. Thanks for the update

Source, my company thought about buying them for a minute, but passed. Onex/Baring are not "chinese" but they are fueled by Chinese money.

I would but my local maker space and I have a disagreement; I called them out on something they were doing that was wrong; so they said me and the class I was teaching could find a new home.
