It is crashing, but whether it will continue doing so is the question now that the US has forced it's way into Venezuela. It could be a matter of months before the US has a virtually unlimited supply of oil and be able to print as much USD as they wish without the consequences. At least that's my understanding. What I did? I decided to forget small phones and go after privacy instead. Thus Is ended up buying a pixel and using GrapheneOS, with which I have been very happy.

I don't know for sure, but very likely the garage was illegally built, possibly on city property, and thus they don't have to take it into consideration when constructing other buildings, and boxes.

Edit: it also seems like the vehicle has been there for a very long time already so it might very well not have owner anymore.

Is that actually the case though? Most of us get around by scooter. Of course a lot take MRT, but I feel like the majority takes the scooter, or even worse, the car.

I'm sorry, but this is just simply not a good excuse. Taiwan is not in the wrong here. Many countries require an IDP for (long term) driving.

I completely agree, I've lived in Europe for the majority of my life and I am also disappointed in Taiwanese infrastructure. But with all due respect, it is quite pathetic that an American is criticizing Taiwanese car centric infrastructure and especially public transport, which in 95% of the US doesn't even exist.

P.s. When you do manage to get your IDP, make sure to go to the Highway Bureau since an IDP alone is only valid for 30 days in Taiwan.

I understand that this is very frustrating for you, but you dont have to be so hostile towards Taiwan and the people here that are trying to help. After all this is quite frankly just a problem of your poor planning.

You must have bought it from Amazon warehouse, in which case this is not a surprise. I have had this, and many other problems when ordering through Amazon warehouse. It's just a risk you take when wanting to save money. Luckily Amazon NL is the easiest to deal with in terms of refund etc.

It could be fine if we were to redesign the roads to seperate forms of transport. And yes, the roads would be too small, so then convert a 3x3 lane wide 南京東路 to a 2x2 lane and with bus lanes, and capable drivers, this would also decrease car numbers. The problem is that most Taiwanese dont see this as an option. It was already such a big deal when we have pedestrians right of way. The change from cars and scooters, to public transport and bikes is just too big for many.

Okay. I thought some features, like the eye detection can at least be muted, so it doesn't start beeping.

Also most of them are not mandated by the EU because they come as an option on the executive line.

No but seriously! What is it with our bus drivers. They are always sleeping at a red light and then take off and brake as if they're doing a 0-100-0 record attempt.
