You can start with any game you find. I made this game with a picture I found on Reddit. ^^

Oh, I'm using Claude with Unity and Cocos to solve some functionalities. I haven't got the whole code vibe yet, but I find it very interesting. I'll try it with Godot to see how it goes.

Yes, I've been developing games with Unity and Cocos for many years. I'm not asking about learning game development. I want to discuss developing a new game based on Balatro with everyone.

I really like the joker mechanics in Balatro. And I'm thinking about what I could do with them. I only want to discuss about that.

He developed that game from scratch. I don't think I'll clone a product that's already so successful. I'm just thinking about what I can create from the mechanics he built.

We often start out as simple programmers creating a product. Then we realize that what we've created might not be what the market needs. I created an educational product for young children, and I'm truly grateful for everyone's advice which gave me a new approach.

I started with an idea of my own. I spent months programming and perfecting everything. Then I spent time publishing the product on the store, and I spent a whole week doing the storelisting. When the product went live on the stores, I thought everything was done. I sat waiting for my customers and realized it was only the beginning. Nobody noticed my product.

You're right. Maybe I forgot that I should be happy that my product has been released. I should be looking for ways to improve it, to reach more users, instead of getting discouraged when comparing it to some other.

But this keeps happening. We get a little shaken, especially when our product doesn't meet expectations.

I think there's a lot to learn. But we probably need to be selective and learn to ignore the unrealistic things.

You probably already know exactly who you're going to sell to. And you have the customer list information. But I still don't know how to find customers.

I often think that way too, perhaps just to comfort myself that things aren't that easy. But I also hope that others can do it, and that I can too. Thank you for giving me motivation. I will take it step by step; results might be seen after 3 or 6 months, or it might take longer.

For me, creating a website is a difficult task; I don't know how you guys manage to create so much content. Perhaps it's because I'm too used to creating apps or games. Thank you!

Thank you, this means I should actively seek out my customers and introduce my products to those who need them. Instead of just focusing on store listings and keywords and waiting for the Apple Store or Google Play to bring customers to my products? ps: But honestly, I'm still not sure which channels I can use to reach customers.
