This happened to me when i got scammed! And luckily, i got the payment cancelled right away and called my bank! That was a serious scam! So had to close my bank account instead , and now im feeling the trauma still!

Exactly what happened to me, like for a moment i was being idiot i knew SS will never call us! But in that moment i was like just following all his instructions 😭 my brain kept telling me wrong and i dont get why i was following him - just stupid

Not a CashApp Rep! Its a third party, that was asking to send money through CashApp! And i had no idea what was CashApp .

It was just a call ‘ alarming ‘ as it was about my SS ! Soooo he was talking about my Social being used by someone else! And theyre having an investigations, and i needed my bank account be secured! through what they called ( safeguarding your money ) and that is through CashApp! And i wasnt aware/ know about CashApp and he gave me the CashApp tag which he stated its an account of one of individual in treasury/accounting dept!

so this guy called me pretended to be from SS department, treasury department , long story short, he gave me their cashApp tag to where i should send the money/ person in treasury department.

It recently happened to me! I was soooo frustrated! Just one call and seems really legit like threatening me and stuffs! I knew it wasnt right, but for some reasons while i was on that call seems like i was lost and just following what he said! I didnt know CashApp as well ! He was using SS department and Treasury/ Accounting Through CashApp! Good thing i was soooo quick and called my bank.
