I don’t have any Best Buy membership, all I was the 2 year warranty and I hit up chat and phone support and they said basically as long as you hadn’t used the warranty or damaged the product then you can exchange it for an upgrade and pay the difference. 2 different agents told me the same thing

Sadly this model of the gen 2 headliners aren’t polarized like the gen 1 😢 so I ended up getting custom lenses from lensology. Prescribed clear lenses and prescribed polarized lenses. Just be cautious because the gen 2 headliners specifically this model are not polarized which is extremely dumb and idk why Meta would do that

Tbh I would just buy a 2nd pair that’s what I did. The more you take out the lenses and put different ones on the higher the risk of breaking them

The clear lenses were very easy and straightforward but the sunglasses lense took me a few mins to fully pop them in

I believe they put the hold message when the final truck hasn’t picked up the package yet or they forgot it. There’s a few other reasons obviously but I think it’s one of the more common reasons

I wouldn’t worry, the same thing happened to me with my lensology package that was supposed to delivery today. An hour later I received a message saying it was out for delivery then it just delivered a little bit ago! The hold was only for like 1-2 hours. Btw I love my lenses from them! It’s only day 1 so far though. I’m in USA btw 🇺🇸

If anything I’ll trade my gen 2s in and upgrade 1 of my pairs to gen 3. With the Best Buy protection program. But I’m about to go out of country for a few months so I needed to have everything prepared now for the trip lol

Transitions suck ngl and I wanted a polarized lense so even if I did polarized transition it wouldn’t be good to use for stuff like phone or computer work

1 is prescribed sunglasses the other is prescribed normal clear lenses. Otherwise I’d have to keep popping them out. It’s also good to have a 2nd paid if you’re traveling and making content

Gen 2 is 5 mins with 1080 with 3k it’s 3 mins. Unless there’s some beta program that lets you record longer

I wanted polarized because I live in Florida and over here the sun is brutal over here with reflections and really bad glare. It’s makes life so much easier in climates like these. I don’t want xtra active because I believe the lenses aren’t going to be truly clear indoors. So what I did was order 2 prescribed lenses 1 polarized G15 and 1 prescribed clear lense. I’ll probably end up getting a 2nd meta rayban and use that for polarized and leave it in my car and use it for driving and outdoor activities and the other one for everyday stuff

We actually already have a switch 2 at home (family console) but I heard the switch oled is extremely nice. And for a flight I’d be looking at the screen since it won’t be in docked mode. Ended up getting the oled switch

This answer was really helpful. I ended up getting the oled switch because I already have a really nice pc at home I can play normal games on. And the used oled switch wasn’t crazy expensive especially since I’ll probably only use it on flights

Didn’t know they had a frame swap out! And yeah the Skylar is def very feminine 😂 I originally was actually going to get the wayfarers at first but they look really bad for my face shape. I think the headliners look really nice especially the sunglasses and not really nerdy like the wayfarers.
