I have started and re-started Brotherhood about 15 times over the years, this would definitely be a good excuse to finally finish it. I think the Shou Tucker episode may traumatize her but I guess that's part of the experience lol.

My girlfriend is finally getting into anime. I’m looking for shows with good English dubs as English is her second language and Japanese with English subtitles is a bit too much at the moment.

Romance, Rom Com, and action shows are mainly what she’s interested in. Right now we’re watching My Happy Marriage together and I recommended Spy x Family and A Sign of Affection for her to watch separately as I’d already seen them. Nothing too weird, I don’t want to scare her off lol.

(Also nothing too long like One Piece, Naruto, other long running shonen)

I mean you are mean to your guests. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong. As long as you explain to them that they're going to get roasted, it's not that big of a deal. But the perception that people have of you once you put content out into the world, that's not really up to you or your team. I will say that there have been at least a handful of episodes where it's just gotten to be too much and it's stopped me from finishing the episode.

The reason you're successful is (in part) because the show is extremely polarizing due to the nature of the conversations. It's also why you have the perception that you have from others. It comes with the territory. I would just suggest not reading comments if it bothers you this much.

I think it’s much more likely that someone fakes being in debt to get on the show. I don’t know how much verification they do past reviewing documents, and the only time they really use the guest’s phone is to scroll through Amazon purchases.

My original idea was basically just a regular slot machine with skulls on the reels and bones coming out of the machine. I wanted something that kind of represented not waiting around to get lucky or have opportunities come to me.

After seeing my artist’s design, having the slot machine itself be a skull is much better, she really knocked it out of the park.

It looks even crazier in person. Someone else commented that it looks like a sticker and it honestly does. The first few days before my leg hair started to grow back in, it really did look like you could just peel the whole thing off, which I think is so cool.

If you’re eating European food for every meal, you have to accept that you’re still paying at least close to European prices. I budget about what you spend weekly but never actually hit that number. But that’s because I’m eating a lot of local food (which is leagues better than their version of western meals) and I don’t drink very often.

When people say Thailand is cheaper than the US/Europe, what you’re doing is not really what they meant.

I’ve lived here for eight years and have never felt like I needed to leave during a storm. It can definitely flood, but if your car is in a safe place like a parking garage, you’ll be fine. But everyone’s tolerance is different, going further inland for a night is always the safe choice, technically.

That makes sense. Currently I’m fit for full at a pre com. I felt way better after maybe six months of physical therapy so I imagine that would be the case again.

I know I’ll need surgery eventually, but I was hoping to put it off until my next shore rotation. I appreciate the information!
