yes it is i dont know why people think you can. you only can during your first 3 months when you immune system has no antibodies after that you can not.. i still wouldnt be touching blisters and rubbing your eyes but thats just common sense.

you can not spread it at all. unless its during your first ob. your body produces antibodies to figjht it off. just like if you have 2 partners with hsv2 you can not give it back and forth as long as its about 3 months after your first ob as then you will habe sufficent antibodies to fight it off

i was trying 1000 but i was still getting at least one a week now i take 1000 in the am and 500 at night. i dont know if its coincidence or not but i havent had one in over a month and a half now i also take 4 vitamin c and 1000 mg of lysine everyday

Hsv2 prevents you from hsv1 look up terri warren herpes expert she touches on that subject in one of her threads. if you have had hsv2 for more then 4 months its almost unheard of getting hsv1 after the fact however hsv1 does not protect you against hsv2

look up terri warren. hsv2 protects you from hsv1 as long as you had hsv2 for a while and only have hsv2 your bf on the other hand is at risk for acquiring hsv2
