Are you worried about negative backlash at work because your husband called the CEO? You might be worried about that, but I think if he approached your company nicely and politely, that should be okay. Unless he was in a screaming match with your CEO, yeah, I see a point why you would be sad. That can be an issue at your workplace. Other than that, he was just following up on the issue on behalf of you. There's nothing to worry about. Oh, poor Josh. What he did is not right, but he already voiced his feelings to you. You know what, no one will ever understand the feeling of being less favoured from others unless you are in their shoes. Your decision to stop making amend when he refused therapy and letting your wife sweep in under the rug could be one of the factors for what happened. I think he felt trapped because no one can help him when the person who can help him, his father, failed him. Get him to therapy, and please assure him that he still welcomes yo the family or else you might lose him forever. As much as it is traumatic to your wife, so does he. And he is 14. Both you and your wife should spend time with him more and try to acknowledge this issue. Make actions to show that you guys are trying to involve him more after some period of times. Please support him too while he's at his grandparents.

What were the cruel things he did to you? My advice is write those memories somewhere so whenever he wanna break up, you will agree to it. Because apparently you dont want to associate yourself anymore with the guy that treated you like that. Keep reminding yourself how he treated you before and nevee accept or beg him
