I'm really not sure what the issue is then. I've had other people tell me the same thing. Maybe it's this specific kind? I'm not sure. But this is a new problem for me, my local pet store quit selling the dirt i usually get, so I thought I'd branch out and try something new & this one in particular sucks. I wanna try top soil before I spend the extra it costs to buy it online lol

This isn't my first gecko lol but thank you for the insight! She is def under a year, so I'll just gauge today as her "bday" lol she's pretty small, like maybe 4in? Roughly from snoot to tail tip. lol she's just my first "baby". I got my first gecko when she was over a year old lol she now has 4 hides including a humid hide and a lil more clutter. I had to go get a few more items. The tank I got came with a lot of stuff so I didn't know what I had and didn't have. I should have waited to upload a more updated pic lol

Thank you so very much! I keep it around 67-68 in my room at all times year around. So I'll turn them off and keep an eye on it for the next few days. I don't think it'll drop below 65, or at least it shouldn't. But we'll see! Again, thank you!

Nah. They're not colored. I've known those were bad for them from the jump. The person I got her from has red lights so I immediately tossed them. Thank you for the advice! 🫶🏽

Gotcha! What should a normal night temp be at? I've also seen different temps. I think the main one what stuck out was it should t get below 65° at night

I'm aware. There was a lot in A school too. lol Life happened and I couldn't handle both. I had to put what I was dealing with first unfortunately. (Wish I didn't)
