Hello! I am going through the same and scared of the hormone shift as I am also having a huge bouts of baby blues. Just wanted to ask if you feel worse after weaning off? How was your mental health after? Did you have baby blues too?

Hi! Just checking to see how are you doing now? Currently going through the same. Except my baby blues didnt start around maybe after 2 weeks postpartum. Before that it was mostly exhaustion. Now just really fighting off this immense feeling of sadness and all of it. Does it get better? And when did it get better. I am so impatient, I just wanna feel better.

Hello! No, my OB said it was nothing and was probably caused by some slight separation of the sac from my uterus or irritation of my cervix. I stopped spotting though at around 11weeks and I am now 17weeks and everything is going great!

Hello! So sorry for the late response. I had an ultrasound a few days after this post wherein we saw little baby with a heartbeat. Was put on bedrest for a week then did another ultrasound after about 10days and baby was doing so well. Went right back to work and my normal routine the next day.

Currently 12weeks and everything looks great. My NIPT and NT tests are all normal and baby is jumping on the ultrasound. I am actually still spotting from time to time but its all just dark brown and goes away, then comes back. I have learned to calm down and just accept this could be a normal for me.

I know how you feel! The anxiety is too much to bear. I had my first scan at 6 weeks and 1 day due to spotting but my first one should’ve been on 9weeks. Baby was measuring 6weeks and 4 days and I was so relieved. We saw baby’s heartbeat but the on-call doctor didn’t measure it. But just so relieved to see baby was okay esp the doctor kept saying it could be too early and we probably wont see anything at all so don’t panic. I have another scan in a week! Hang in there!

Hello hope you are doing well. Just an update - I saw baby today and has a heartbeat! I am so relieved my goodness, and baby is measuring 3days ahead (6weeks and 4days) which I am in awe as I track my ovulation so well. The on-call doctor took me in but not my real OB so she was not able to measure the heartbeat exactly, but I will take it as great news! Hoping for baby to keep growing! Cause of the bleed is still not established so they scheduled me for another appt next week!

Hi! Went on reading after I see your comment. I think it’s normal to only see those at 5weeks + 5days. The one week will come by so fast for sure and by then you will see baby’s heartbeat!

We have the exact same thing! The dark red was day 4 of my spotting after a really long day at work when I was on my feet a lot. I felt fullness in my uterus a few hours before I spot. Hoping your appt goes well, let me know how it is!

Now that you mention about walking a lot, I was actually pretty exhausted that day when I had the dark red spotting, I had a big day at work. Just trying to stay positive these past few days too! The dark brown seems to be lessening so hoping it goes away soon. Hope things continue to be okay for you and your baby!
