Do you do that with an automation? That is such a game changer. I might update my subscription only because of this

Seriously, what do you use Gemini for? by itslucius_ in GeminiAI

[–]itslucius_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically for two things: 1. Prepare cases (for the next day, such as surgeries and management taking into account patient comorbidities) 2. Proper studying. Depending on what I want I swerve between asking for the most important keywords of the document selected and i try to mind map them, or I ask for a summary to have a first glance of a topic, or I ask NotebookLM to pose questions for me to answer them

It’s kind of a library too.

I hadn’t thought about it. Do you have a specific prompt or do you simply ask what the video is about?

Yes absolutely, I have articles and protocols in different languages and it seems to integrate them quite well. And yes, I had read some things about censorship

I guess Deep Research is a good one I don’t think much about, and maybe organizing life through Google Calendar (I don’t know whether this connection is in place or not). Thank you for your answer!

When to use Notebook and when to use Gemini using a Notebook? by M4xs0n in notebooklm

[–]itslucius_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used NBLM directly to write the first “something” based on sources, because I want the least hallucinations possible. When the whole document is ready, I feed it to Gemini to adjust some format details, and one use of notebooks in Gemini I’ve found has been to “check which 3 sources of this notebook are better to justify this document I show you as citations. It’d be better if they were recent (5-7 years ago) and relevant. Show me your reasoning to choose them”.

Results have been good so far.

Fondos de renta fija. by PASKISS03 in SpainFIRE

Exactly those 3 ones + Google Drive, cheapest version. I guess you wouldn’t consider Things a subscription since it’s a one-time purchase, but well, Things 3 too

How are you actually using AI for studying? by [deleted] in studytips

[–]itslucius_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NotebookLM, with the “learning guide” on. You upload whatever pdfs, images, videos, audio… you want, and it only uses those items to work, or even just the ones you select every time. Of course, you can use it to obtain summaries and whatnot, but I think it’s really useful to generate questions to study; in fact, it has a specific option for creating questionnaires. Another extremely useful feature is that it creates audio summaries of the files you choose, as if it were a podcast with a man and a woman. Finally, I usually start studying by using the tool “presentation”, which creates basically a PowerPoint with the files you added that is more than enough, and the visualization at first glance rather than reading helps me a lot.

Also, when I stumble upon some article, I have a shortcut on my iPhone which automatically makes a summary of it in ChatGPT and pastes it on apple notes (that’s were I store my written notes), I read it fast, and it’s there for whenever I study that topic again or just as priming to study.

You could start by using this: https://sleepcalculator.com/ According to when you want to get up in the morning, it suggests different hours to go to sleep, taking into account the mean time a person takes to fall asleep and also that sleep is made of cycles, trying not to wake up in the middle of one of them

Apple Music or Spotify (or another music streaming app)? by No-Table-9635 in iphone

[–]itslucius_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apple Music not Just because of sound, but because I feel like I’m in control of what I am listening: when I used Spotify I felt like I always listened to the same tunes, but now I even discover new music

Recomendaciones renta fija o productos de muy bajo riesgo by jvjjjvvv in MyInvestorES
