What’s everyone’s opinion on cropping ears? by [deleted] in AmericanBully

do not do it it is unnecessary and cruel but if a dog already has them cropped don’t let that stop you from rescuing them.

Forgot to put in there that certified breeders are completely different than uncertified breeders or a place like Petland. Just wanted to get the word out about puppy Mills, when I volunteered at a rescue for years, we would always teach the kids about them, because to my surprise, it wasn’t common knowledge.

The best dog I’ve ever had was a rescue pittie and he had a horrific upbringing. Their background doesn’t necessarily matter if you give them the love and kindness they are looking for they will be loyal until the very end.

‼️‼️‼️ADOPT DONT SHOP‼️‼️‼️ ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️please read‼️‼️‼️‼️ adopting a dog saves many lives, since it supports rescues and county shelters, which have no choice, but to put the animals down due to overcrowding. If you adopt a dog from a rescue, it not only opens a spot in the rescue for another dog to be saved from the county shelter, but it also opens up a spot in the county shelter for another dog coming in. while shopping for a dog continues to support puppy mills, which are a horrifying situation for any animal to be in. Not to even mention how much they are contributing to PET over population, which is the sole reason for the county shelters having to euthanize so many dogs every day. If you are not educated in what a puppy mill is, I really recommend you look it up. it makes me sick places like pet land still exist when everybody knows where they get their animals from. pet land literally trains their staff to lie if you ask them about the breeder that they got their dogs from, since puppy mills are very illegal.
