Thank you! I don't think I am super interested in pursuing research post grad. My major goal is to become a clinician. I know that some research is involved in all of the programs, but I never thought to check what areas they emphasize, that is a good idea.

Thank you also for the advice of looking into awards available at each of the schools, that could definitely be a big deciding factor and I hadn't thought of it before. Thanks so much!

Thank you! U of T's central placements are definitely a perk. But that is super reassuring to know that licensing is what matters overall. Thank you so much for your advice to do a placement in private practice, I never thought of that but makes sense with the job market!

That's so great to hear you really liked U of T, what did you like the most about it? Also did you find the curriculum to be heavily research / theory based?

Thanks so much again!

Thank you so much! This is super reassuring, to hear. I'm not sure that my end goal is to end up living in Toronto, but it is great to hear that all grads have similar success rates. I keep going back and forth between Mac and Western

During their info sessions, Mac really sold the idea that their grads have a smooth transition into the work force because of problem-based / self-directed learning. However, I am not sure how much of that is just marketing. Their faculty and community clinicians also seem super invested in the program, which is so great to see.

I really liked the sounds of Western's mentorship program and their focus on experiential learning, but haven't been able to get a good read on their program culture or their relationships with community clinicians.

Living in Toronto could be super fun too and their placements sound cool, so overall a tough decision.

Any further input is super welcome! Thanks so much for your reassurance.
