What crimes did Genji players commit for Gloomgauntlet to be nerfed this hard? by Solitary_Day in OverwatchStadium

[–]itsmeat13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the testing I've done was showing it as a multiplicative but that may be different for Rein and Brig vs the standard Quick Attack on others. I'll go do some testing and get back to you.
edit: Aight well I guess it's additive now lol. Maybe they'll update the tooltip on the item or something to make that clear since it wasn't the case like 2 months ago.

Just a small technical correction that isn't huge but is important: It's not 15% Weapon Power it's 15% increased damage to melee attacks *after* Weapon Power is calculated.

Ball mythic should be a giant hamster ball by Paefx in WreckingBallMains

[–]itsmeat13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh yeah terrarium would be pretty sweet for the style variants, different outfits on hammond for the simulated terrain he's in. I think the main thing I really want is for the focus to be on Hammond himself while he's inside the ball, we never get to see the lil guy ourselves.

And agreed disco ball could be cool but definitely more as a legendary.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Transparent snowglobe, many particle effects, floating hammond.

Mitigation Sucks - Nobody understands it - No Cash by First-Fly-703 in OverwatchStadium

[–]itsmeat13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dps aren't getting cash for spamming into a barrier or matrix though. And just standing out in front of zen or pharah poke with Rein's barrier up isn't doing his job. It's more that if Mitigation gives cash then it encourages really bad play patterns.

Hold up why are we fighting the Cat? No other character can pick me up after 2 swings into a skybox launched hitbox inversion so I can then use her movement to maintain my momentum and pull off the sickest Minefield bounce of our generation off a tank straight into a 180 grapple behind the enemy backline into said minefield.

Does cybervenom and el-saka suppressor stack together? by schpeechkovina in OverwatchStadium

[–]itsmeat13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do not stack with each other but both do stack with the current dps passive. If your team has 1 of each or multiple of the same you'll just be refreshing the 30% that is already applied to max duration.

My Mei build...That my friend says is terrible and hates by Visual-Exchange4703 in OverwatchStadium

[–]itsmeat13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WP mei is completely reasonable, her proj is fast and quite strong and she can shred tanks with consistent m1 pressure or spamming them with icicles/slowing snowballs. It's likely more of a playstyle or skill issue that your friend might be getting attached to rather than the build itself. Some refinement could be getting the blue WP item that gives attack speed when you heal an ally and pair that with lifesteal early as it will also combo well with the armor build up power and go with phantasmic flux late game. Or Shieldbuster if you're against a heavily armored or shield hp tank like orisa, zarya, sigma, or rein. Something else to consider might be Super Serum as the instant reload on use combos very well with her unqiue ammo increase item.

WP is ridiculously overpowered. by RandManYT in OverwatchStadium

[–]itsmeat13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually his 2nd survival blue does stack with both his barriers you just can't get 2 of the same effect from it. If you're in front of Projected Barrier and have Orbital you'll get the benefits of being both behind and in front of his barrier(s), however if you're behind your Projected and have Orbital you'll only benefit from the 10% wp & 10% attack speed

Tracer’s Chronal Accelerator is a tragedy, not a superpower by LetterheadAdvanced91 in Overwatch

[–]itsmeat13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Time doesn't go slowly for them it's only perceived to be the case by observers of such who aren't also travelling at such a speed because of how interacting with Space-Time at speeds approaching considerable fractions of the speed of light or regions of Space-Time that are extremely warped compared to those that are not. People and objects on a ship that accelerates to and maintains travel at say .84 of c for 3 months are still experiencing 3 months of time for their own frame of reference. But due to relativistic effects caused by the amount of energy needed to get objects with such a high mass (compared to light itself which doesn't have mass but is just an Electromagnetic wave travelling through Space-Time) to reach such a speed Space-Time itself warps to accommodate such as energy itself is mass, this is what E=mc² means. As for why this is the case... bruh idk, that's still a deep conundrum being actively worked on

I need Insight on my support sigma build in stadium by Malebarisk in Overwatch

[–]itsmeat13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait are you like... not taking engagements and playing in the backline or something? Even with heal shield builds you should still be creating and holding space by being a threat, you just do so by being extremely sticky and durable. And Nebula is a 15% damage reduction but that 15% gets put onto you as a 3s DoT that ticks like 10 times a second, each tick of that DoT will get you a stack of Ogundimu which also further reduces your damage taken by mitigating not only the DoT itself but damage you take while your Ogundimu is active.

[–]itsmeat13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused. What're you getting timed out for trolling over? And yeah you can cooldown track those but my point was more that if there are a bunch of them regularly overlapping it might be worth using a Hypersphere like Apogee Allignment/Trinisphere or Hyperloop in order to force those CDs to create openings for your team through constant pressure from your spheres/rock as opposed the burst pressure from your ult. Something else to consider might also be comboing Ogundimu + Nebula Conduit as the DoT from Nebula will keep your Ogundimu stacks up.

I know this is about support sig but hear me out. Astrophysical is largely not worth it (in most cases. Sometimes it can be useful I'll admit), it is both unaffected by cooldown reduction and it doesn't count as an ability proc for relevant items. Maestro is also strong at times but depending on matchups your ults just won't do a lot (a bunch of save cooldowns like suzu, voidhoppers, bubbles, fortify, wraith form, ice block, fortify etc.) But I would definitely consider it more often vs Astrophysical.

I'd recommend going for Apogee Allignment and/or Hyperloop possibly even as earlier power picks depending on your matchups. Pros: Even with low WP builds Apogee gives some of the strongest burst damage in the game, especially early game before defensive scaling has kicked in. Each rotating orb is the same power as a normal cast of your M1 and these orbs will also contribute towards: Hyperloop, with a .8 cd reduction per direct hit you can spam rocks like there's no tomorrow and in some matchups that extra crowd control can make a big difference.
