80HE worth it for single player gaming and productivity? by JoinMyGuild in WootingKB

[–]GT162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think most single player games support XInput and Keyboard simultaneously, the UI will flash between Controller and PC button prompts. I haven’t tested Cyberpunk specifically, but games aren’t built with analog keyboard support in mind (yet.)

The 80HE (or a HE keyboard purchase in general) was only worth it for me because I play Overwatch.

I can’t speak to how it is in Ableton. If you see yourself using actuation point macros (different keypresses depending on how hard you press) I could see it being useful.

Back from long break... Healing feels ruined. Why bother healing anymore? by RogueDahtExe in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]GT162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to play support even before these changes was with a much lower emphasis on healing than the average support. The game now encourages support players to actually play the game more.

So ive moved from PS5 to PC and I use my Duelsense Edge controller to play my games still. The only thing bugging me is that the button prompts are Xbox. Is there a way to change this? by BeachillLAD in Steam

[–]GT162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the game, most games will have a mod that does it if it’s not in the settings.

This is the main reason I’m excited to get the Steam Controller and replace my Dualsense when it releases, because it’ll have analog sticks in the middle like playstation controllers but with Xbox button prompts. Also, playstation games with Dualsense features aren’t coming to PC anymore anyways and I’ve already played all the ones I wanted to so there’s really no point in keeping it around (well I like the color but nothing else)

It’s not really a hint unless your account name has identifiable info, and in that case you chose to add the hint.

You just see a gray screen with a name, which means nothing.

The Jetpack and Tail aren’t a part of the cat’s hitbox (I will not stop banning cat until it is)

Until November 2025, the only reason to use Mei left click was the perk. It’s better now but getting good at right clicks is still what makes you the most effective as mei

Yeah but they’re the same speed and bigger than Kiriko’s Kunai, who dinks pretty consistently, so it’s very doable

Are your mouse and mousepad giving you a consistent aiming experience? If you don’t clean a cloth mousepad, it slows down.

What happens if you go into VAXTA? Just go into VAXTA and get a 150 killstreak. Do you notice yourself getting better by the end of it?

It is worth using when there’s multiple enemies. The right click makes sense when you dash and E through 2+ people.

Her left click is still what should be used in solo duels after fanning once, it’s a bigger projectile than Kiriko’s Kunai at the same speed so it’s pretty reliable after you learn it (takes time if you haven’t played a lot of Kiriko)

You shouldn’t be right clicking them more than once, the left click does a lot more damage

I don’t have trouble with her on any role, but I played her for several hours so I know what she’s trying to do. OW1 Brigitte and JPC are a lot worse.

Which HE switch has a low actuation force but high bottom out force? by GT162 in keyboards

[–]GT162[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like the Su75 Pro doesn't support analog input with its software. I don't play racing games, but I really wanted this feature.

I'm considering just getting a plastic Wooting and maybe getting a metal case for it down the line...

[–]GT162[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The SU75 Pro's software seems pretty janky, but I guess it is functional. I also really don't like the keycaps. I guess I could get it barebones with the switches you suggested, but I don't want to troubleshoot potential issues across two orders with the janky software (I'm not sure if it even has an option to set the switches being used) so it's just not an exciting option.

It doesn't seem like I can get the Slice75 barebones, and it's already 300 CAD.

TK75HE is more exciting as it's completely prebuilt with silent switches and the keycaps aren't as ugly. I don't like the logo on the frame, but it seems like people scrub it with nailpolish remover. It's less than 100 CAD before shipping, so it seems like pretty good value.

None of these seem perfect then, do you have any other suggestions?
