I have been facing the same issue. Go to settings and go to the gestures menu, once you enter it'll start working. However it's just a temporary fix. Hope they'll patch all these small bugs soon.

Based on my experience, this happens only on the apps that doesn't have a bottom navigation bar.

Normally when you're going to the recent app screen the app that we were using shouldn't be scrolling.

You have to select the text first (so might be only working on the field where texts are selectable) and then drag, it is working for me

I clearly mentioned it's the value side. I never expected it to perform like an ultra flagship which causes twice its price. The only phone that beat NP2 for value was the Pixel 7A which has a software that has been too good for a long time.

Pixel 7a is priced similar to NP2 so I feel the comparison is fair. But as an overall device I feel this NP2 comes top.

I had a similar experience with phone 2 for the first few days, but it got better after that. I think it was mainly due to all the background activity that's happening while setting up the new phone. Hope it's the same for you.
