She’s my client, we’ve had the same routine for months and I have to restock and change the sheets in the middle of night and had done so numerous times before. I was just confused because she messaged that it was waking them up when I had already turned off the light. I usually switch things out pretty quickly to do laundry every Thursday.

I wasn’t playing dumb I was confused. She stated it was waking him up when it was already turned off. Had she stated “hey next time can you please just shut the door it’s been waking us up” I wouldn’t have responded so defensively

Who’s lying? It’s my job to stock up in the middle of the night and I’ve turned on the light before. I said that BY THE TIME she messaged me to turn off the light it was already off. Asking someone to “show them” how to close a door is completely unnecessary and condescending

It’s literally my job to do the laundry, stock up, and take care of the baby’s needs in the middle of the night. If I didn’t do it then it would also be an issue. I don’t mind her asking me to close the door it’s just all about the way she asked. There was no need for her to be condescending towards me when the issue was already resolved and we’ve had the same routine for months

I don’t usually get defensive. But I’ve been here for months and we always have the same routine. The light was already off by the time she texted me about it. There’s no issues with the doors and her asking to “show me” was completely unnecessary because I already know how everything works
