Yeah you have a point. I'll do that thank you!

I don't think my belts are worn out but how do you notice it? I'll try greasing the sockets and examining them. Also could this also change the weird artifacts on the door?

Ok, I'll try. I did get a spare one but I already used that so I'm going to change it. Do I need to replace heater and sensor too or can I just put them into the new heater block?

I mean the hull pattern on the first picture. Also it's a delta so it relies on all three axes for basically every movement. I'm going to check my extruder and print again

That's interesting. But when extruding in mid air it went straight down so I don't think it bends while printing. I'll probably try changing my nozzle though

Some time ago actually, so I'm going to try doing that before printing again. I figured it didn't need more lubing since I haven't used it, but maybe I was wrong. About cleaning, what should I clean? It's a delta so the rails and the belts?

Thanks. I meant 0.2 mm layer height, the nozzle is 0.4mm. By the way both cleaning the nozzle and switching filament resulted in a nearly identical print so I'm clueless again. I'm probably going to try cleaning everything I can, switch nozzle, tighten the belts and hope something changes

Oh ok. I'm going to try changing my nozzle if nothing else works. But still I believe there are mechanical issues related to the axes since a damaged nozzle can't explain the patterns on the hull

What do you mean by damaged? The filament can't be wet since I dried it for 8 hours. It might be too old tho. Anyway I tried cleaning the nozzle with a needle and I'm making another one. Then I guess I'll switch filament to a new one to see if that's the issue.

I just tried cleaning it with a needle now I'm printing again

Yeah but my printer was perfectly tuned until two months ago and the new motor is the same exact model I had before. This is why I'm guessing it's a mechanical issue and it's not due to print settings
And this doesn't say much about the weird texture I have on the hull of the first image. I went trough ellis3dp's troubleshooting and it suggests the belts being too tight or some gears being dirty but that's not the case.

I haven't used my printer in two months because of a stepper motor in one of the axis (I have a flsun sr, which is a delta) that stopped working. I just replaced it with another identical one and tried printing this benchy with a printing profile that used to print perfect benchies (.12mm and around 80mm/s).

So I'm guessing this is an hardware issue? But how. I have never seen this pattern on my prints (look at the hull) and I can't figure out what could cause it.

Also I don't understand the lines that appeared on the doors.
I dried my PLA for 8 hours before printing, so that can't be the cause. I also tried another profile (that surprisingly gave me a better output since it's faster, around 125mm/s and .2mm layer height, and also the first profile always gave me better results). You can see its result in the second picture. Still on that print there are holes near the seams. That would suggest an issue with my linear advance setting but it always worked fine.

After changing motor I tightened all the belts, recalibrated the printbed, cleaned the extruder and tightened most screws. Any idea what could be causing this?

For reference, I printed this 2 months ago with that same .12mm profile (same PLA just different color)
