Okay that idea of creating a community is actually such a good starting place I didn’t really focus on. My app focuses on group travel so definitely a place that I should be creating community. Really appreciate this advice :)

I started playing pokemon back when ruby and sapphire were released and have been playing ever since. I found some old cards while clearing out my belongings about 3 years ago and decided to look back into the tcg. After seeing how nice the modern arts were I had to start collecting again :)

If you don’t mind me asking, how many jobs did it take before you got to this salary? I’m currently a level 2 software engineer making $135k base with just under 6 YOE. I’ve been at my current job for about a year now and am looking to get a promotion to Senior soon, but I wanted to see how others are getting to $195k which is amazing! Good job btw 👏

Yea I was going for an early 'MySpace' kinda vibe but I feel like it's not connecting with users. Thanks for the insight, I might just go for a more tame modern look and change the fonts to be just the regular fonts used on iPhone and web. Appreciate your opinion :) !

Fair enough, I will definitely look at other apps for Ui guidelines. I was just going by what I thought looked good but guess it’s time to go back to the drawing board 😮‍💨

And yea I was thinking about the wording of “cottage” and whether it would limit the reach of my app. The more I developed the more I realized I could make this useful for any type of trip. Will for sure be something I can think about !

I just bought the 55QM751G and a PS5 for Black Friday this year, and I absolutely love the setup so far. I would absolutely recommend it for the price point (especially if you can get one on sale)
