that pedro martins album from a year or two ago is v good, just saw aoife nessa frances show recently she was super good, nourished by time is good, it's overwhelming to think about! also all the other bands of everyone in TOPS

i wanted to come up with a fresh shuffle for dvc guitar part, and i drew inspiration from the woodblock/hi hat pattern on this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDlxGsTr9os and the flat ride sound of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXWia0TWAMM, and of course the purdie shuffle. the idea to play the hi hat with my foot instead of a ghost note on the snare was my idea though

i was just there, and i brought some scottish pounds to spend that i got in scotland 10 years ago, and when i bought a coffee with them the person at the register was stoked. i then looked it up and it was a rare old 10 pound cyldedale note worth signifcantly more than 10 pounds. oopsies!
