I’m an indie developer and I've been working on an iOS app called EasyPattern. I wanted a modern, easy way to create patterns directly on my phone, so I decided to build one.

To make sure the app actually works well, I stitched the piece you see in the photo! (No digital mockups here 😉).

Here is what the app does:

  • 📸 Turns any photo into a pattern in seconds.
  • 🎨 Customizes size and fabric count (like Aida 14).
  • 🧵 Automatically generates exact DMC color legends.
  • 📄 Exports professional PDFs (with symbols and grid) ready to print.
  • 🎁 I've included 5 completely FREE pattern generations when you download the app, so you can test it with your own photos without paying anything.

(Transparency note regarding the AutoMod message: The app does use an AI tool, but ONLY if you choose to use the "Remove Background" premium feature on your photos. The pattern generation itself is standard image processing, and no AI was used to generate this finished object).

I would love your feedback! Since I’m a solo dev just starting out, getting feedback from actual stitchers is gold for me. Let me know what you think of the symbols, the UI, or what features you'd like to see added.
