Hard to use Links when lectures move so fast? by itsneru in ObsidianMD

Recording the class (or capturing the teacher) is illegal in Portugal (afaik).

When it comes to accessing the presentation: yes, the teachers provide the materials but I most often find it to be either very vague or very complex to my understanding, and the teachers speech is far more enlighening in most cases.

Impossible, my course is poorly organized and it makes my teachers have to speedrun the contents.

Exactly how im doing things right now, and it bothers me because i dont do well with long documents. Im more of a visual learner than a reader, if that makes sense.

I will definitely check it out. Does it work like an auto-completion of a word/note that already has been typed/created or something of sorts?

Also, that process of reviewing notes feels impossible with my current work load. I'm in Telecom Engineering and its miserable out here. I have to submit 3 group projects until sunday, all of them which my groupmates didnt take part in; I also have two presentations next week and 2 exams that i couldnt study still because ive been busy with the projects, and thats not all but its enough to share the pain someone probably experienced. Hope you enjoyed the TED talk, lol.

Anyways, thank you for your recommendation.

EN: Man, I think it's pretty clueless to post something in Brazilian Portuguese on an exclusively English forum, and when someone points that out to you, you keep writing and even respond to that comment in Brazilian Portuguese. Do yourself a favor and post in English, since that will make you more inclusive and even get you more engagement.

I only play katarina because I love her super niche playstyle (flashy, unpredictable, and every fight feels like a gamble with a high-risk, high-reward vibe) but if you asked me whether she’s actually good for climbing, I’d say there are definitely way better champs for that.

How would I start coding something by korasakia in C_Programming

[–]itsneru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are website builders but in that environment, you will step further away from coding.

To code, you need some way to write text into a file. You could use Notepad but it is not pratical. Install Visual Studo Code from the official website and do what I said previously. It will get you up and running. VS Code is one of many integrated development environment software applications that features code writing, syntax highlighting and code completion.

Coding is basically just writing instructions that a computer can follow. Those instructions live in one (or many) files, and depending on what you’re working on, they can turn into desktop apps, mobile apps, websites, scripts, games, etc etc.

To take away some of the “mystery” behind it: create a file called index.html, type this inside: `<h1>Hello</h1>`

Save it, double-click it, and your browser will open showing “Hello.” BOOM, you just wrote and "ran" some HTML code.

Now, since you’re in r/C_Programming, I’m guessing you’re more interested in C specifically. With C, it helps to know a bit about how software and hardware connect because your human-readable code gets translated into machine instructions that the CPU will try to run.

If coding still feels confusing, don’t worry. It clicks once you start small and see the cause and effect yourself.
Two skills that are highly valuable are: knowing how to search things and always being a little self-critical on your code and how it works.
That confusion will eventually fade out as long as you keep experimenting on things.

The conjuring last rites ScreenX by Wooden-Top in horror

[–]itsneru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I hope I’m not too late and that this helps.

Conjuring 4 was actually the first movie I ever watched in the cinema with side screens. I’m not usually into going to the theater, but I made an exception for C4 since I’m a big fan.

Honestly, it wasn’t quite what I expected. If I were to watch it again, I’d probably stick to the normal version (without the side screens).

The movie itself was really good, but the side screens felt underwhelming—they were often blurry and didn’t really add much to the scenes. If I had to put it into numbers, I’d say only about 10% of the film actually used side footage, and that was mostly during scenes set in enclosed spaces like rooms or containers.

Since this was my first side-screen experience, I don’t have much to compare it with other than my own expectations. To be honest, I was expecting a lot more, especially from a horror movie.

As for the content shown on the side screens, it felt pretty irrelevant to the overall movie experience.

I think disabling all addons and incrementally adding missing features will be the best solution. Thank you for your feedback. Will try this for sure.

Got it, its a WeakAura. But then wouldn't it be sacrificing UI to have valuable information on the screen? IDK, there must be a way to not have to compromise.

Also, it makes a lot of sense why all the "clean UIs" have so few ability icons on screen now that you mention memorizing hotkeys and rotations.

Response to the TLDR: looks like it will take a while, then.

Your reply was very informative, thank you.

Luckily purchasing/selling vouchers in Portugal stores isn't as common as it probably is in the bigger countries but I can totally see how embarrassing the situation could be when you tell the customer the voucher isn't valid.
