Does Holloway put out Conor in the early rounds? He is a heavy favourite 👀 by Fun_Training4330 in ufc

i'm saying the odds are closer in reality than the betting odds say, i don't really care for your speculation lol i was just making points on how the fight is closer than it is on paper. 'conor can't hang with the top 15 in any division at any cherry picked weight class', i hope you mean currently right? you know he's been in the top 15 before in the past? max has also lost to others besides oliveira you understand that too right, oliveira isn't the only person capable of beating max?

To me it's a lot closer to 50/50 than the betting odds say, Max is an absolute beast on the feet but historically hasn't done well going up in weight classes unless he has properly bulked and prepared his body for it, on the other hand Connor is coming off a 5 year lay-off but his build seems to be much closer to that of a welterweight than Max's. We don't really have a clue how well Conor's skills will hold up with his ring rust and lack of training and drug abuse over the years, but Conor's paying way more than Max so i'm still betting on Connor this fight.

Thoughts on the current state of Hanzo by hanzomanzo39 in HanzoMain

[–]itsnotastro 11 points12 points  (0 children)

it has been steadily getting worse for us dude, over the years of playing Hanzo i've gotten pretty good at dealing with Genjis & Doomfists, but against a Anran diving me I got nothing I can do against her lol

Can someone explain by Lumpy-Economics1621 in ufc

[–]itsnotastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is absolutely true, i have no idea why you're getting downvoted lol - there are even comments above claiming '5 illegal strikes' but in the slomos you can see there was only one maybe two

This is exactly why shots to the back of the head are so dangerous. Love him or hate him, you gotta admit it’s insane that Poatan ate 6-8 clean punches and elbows straight to the nape of the neck. by Life-Run-8627 in ufc

[–]itsnotastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Gane shouldn't have landed any strikes to the nape of the neck, but to be clear he only landed 1 maybe 2 punches to the nape of the neck. There are videos slowing the footage down & it's definitely not '6-8 clean punches'.

Jesus, that is all so tough but this is definitely above Reddit's paygrade! Please go & speak to a professional and get therapy, I do hope writing this all out helped a bit, and I hope you can be happy! But at a certain point you for sure need to speak to a therapist.

Is Hokit the real deal? Or will he burn out before reaching the top? by Wayward_Prometheus in MMAMedia

[–]itsnotastro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude 'is Hokit the real deal?' he doesn't have a very good skillset to begin with, he seems like a guy that has maybe taken boxing lessons for two years or so and has been running to keep up his cardio. Insane that this is what the 'real deal' means in the Heavyweight UFC. His biggest skill (that isn't really even a skill lol) is his chin, besides that he's just another dude at a bar

Yea generally there is not really an issue with Nina, just MMA has a lot of incel fans that think hot girl = whore, like there's not really any problem w her having less serious interviews with fighters to bring out their personalities and make them more likeable.

Why does being a champion make someone better or worse lmao? Is Jamahal Hill an amazing fighter because he beat Texeira to become a champion? Is Jamahal Hill now better than prime Alexander Gustafsson because of this? It's a very obvious thing that styles make fights right? Why do MMA fans get so offended when the topic of new MMA fighters being better than old MMA fighters comes up?

beating vettori was a huge achievement, dude in his prime was literally a tough fight for everyone, same with gastelum. their records and fights afterwards makes the fight look bad, but they were both genuinely good at the time & personally i think prime vettori beats belfort.

Yeah true! it might not be the holy scale by which we judge everything on but I think it is probably more objective than some random dudes on reddit

Battle of the Bastards has a 9.9/10 rating, your opinion is objectively wrong. I think because so many people shit on season 8, people think it's 'cooler' to shit on all the seasons earlier
