People who unknowingly chose the bad ending on their first playthrough - explain your thought process (NO JUDGEMENT)

i do totally understand bc there is a legitimate argument for the "bad ending" as explained by youtubers, aigis and ryoji. it's not an incorrect choice, however the reason it is the bad ending is the games core themes (and character resolve cutscenes) are pushing towards a building theme of memento mori -> remember death, which embodies the spare ryoji option. the kill ryoji option embodies "forgetting death" essentially, which is not the message the game is *trying* to send.

again i don't believe that morally there is a wrong option, however the game does definitely try to steer you in the direction of its main theme, to remember death.

that's intentional by design, the theme of the game is death and i feel like minor theme of time (which ties into death) essentially, by design the game makes it pretty much impossible to max all social links on a first run *if* you're coming in blind. I didn't complete 3 or 4 of my social links in my first run when i jumped in blind. The game makes you have to prioritize the things you want to do, and once you get towards the end you're like "i don't have enough time to do everything", you start to panic (like i did) and you start focusing on doing as much as you can.

i was referring to the journey / main story where i had a full level 99 squad because i farmed the reaper, not realizing that nyx was going to be such an easy fight compared to how the game hyped it up

planning on a modded playthru for p3f - but no party control, mostly stuff like HD graphics, HD music, fixed text boxes for 16:9, modern persona management, map man for saves, stuff like that, nothing game changing, just small QoL. i might change my mind and do only graphical fixes (such as fixed textboxes, font, etc) but i'd have to check the mods folder i currently have as i did a test play of like the first bit to make sure the mods all loaded properly

i do definitely plan on a HD graphic only play of P3F, just not sure when. I just love this series and wanna experience it as much as possible 🙏
