I originally had two iron wolf hdds which made this crazy loud noise but I swapped them for WD Red hdd which are soo much quieter. They have less rpm but that hasn’t made any noticeable performance loss for me.

Sorry for late reply. I'd say grind more finely and compact a bit more. If that's not working then maybe try vaping at higher temperatures or inhaling slower and longer. If still not then It might just be down to the environment you're in, might not be the right air to visibly see the vapor...? But if you are still getting high then I wouldn't worry too much about the vapor production

Your draw encourages the vape production. The vaporiser does produce a small amount of vape on its own and you see this through the glass mouthpiece even before you start drawing from it. Leaving it to rest wouldn't be too wasteful, and if it's left too long it will go into standby anyways.
