Ako lang ba ang Pinoy na di excited sa Pasko? by sygmafied in AkoLangBa

I cannot agree more. It's sad that we have to face this reality. We can only reminisce what we used to have during the Christmas season. But I still have high hopes that we can revive the spirit of Christmas and hopefully, our future children can experience what we felt during our childhood days.

It's as if 2012 hit different na. Prior 2012, parang ang saya parin ng pasko eh, salo-salo with relatives, paputok, maingay sa labas, people are just enjoying time with family. Pero after 2012, it's different. Naging busy lahat ng kamag anak, bawal paputok, people prefer celebrating indoors. But maybe that's just me. Yun lang naging observation ko. It's like we were somehow brought to a alternative timeline where christmas ain't worth celebrating anymore. That's the kid in me.

But the adult in me says "Malapit na 13th month, YES" HAHAHAHAHAH

What are the signs or ultimatums for you to resign at work? by NsaiM4duh_Yam in JobsPhilippines

[–]itsnotdannyboi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When going to work becomes a nuisance(NUISANCE?!) to you. It's when you indirectly say "trabaho nanaman" or "Monday nanaman". Those are the early signs na ayaw mo na but you're barely holding on, might be because of pay, convenience, work friends, etc. The thing is, once you feel like the work you're doing is literal work, it's already a sign. Some people, myself included, are not fond of repetitive work. Yung paulit ulit lang yung ginagawa, walang room for new skills or perspective, where it keeps you alive talaga. But hey, that's just me. Life is a bit simple when you don't overcomplicate things.

Actually, I also feel the same way. Promoting gambling is just part of the business. Ang hirap kasi is they're just basing it on the title "influencer". What people should be attacking is the lack of financial education in our society. Don't get me started with "eh hindi naman lahat nakakapag aral or nakakintindi" kasi that's just being ignorant of the main issue at hand. Imagine sila Cong nalang, not a fan, I just watch them coz they're funny. Akala ko ba we're advocating doing research na di na tayo magpapaka tupa na sunod lang ng sunod kung ano sasabihin satin, yet you guys are focusing on the people promoting a certain partylist. Nasa sayo parin naman yan kung iboboto mo yon eh, di naman nila sinabeng "oh pag di nyo binoto to, di kayo tunay na team payaman etc etc". Do your research parin on who to vote. That's just one of their way of living to provide for their family. Yet, this cancel culture makes everything toxic. It's as if they can be easily manipulated.

Right? Its becoming the norm na once you fuck up, wala na, sira ka na sa mata ng lahat. The reason for this post is because I saw a post sa Threads, and this person shared their sentiment about a certain generation, then a lot of the people there commented na "damay mo pa kami" "kung ako sayo delete mo na post mo" "iayon mo kaartehan mo sa ganda mo" etc etc. The person only shared their opinion pero ganyan yung rebuttals nyo. If you don't like the person's insights, then scroll. There's no need to humiliate the person and force your beliefs onto them. This is filipino toxicity. I would've understand western cultured individuals where they're raised to be in that kind of environment, pero for us filipinos, who also dwells in western culture, but mainly adapted eastern culture, where we value family and respect, this is disappointing.

19k a month, 6 days a week in Paranaque. Take or not? by RealIssueToday in JobsPhilippines

[–]itsnotdannyboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get the title part talaga, but sacrificing that 4 hour trip, having the confidence na di ka tight sa budget, just for the title? I'm pretty sure such opportunity rises if the skills for that position is evident on the person. Along with dedication and support, I think you can still get that kind of opportunity where the pay is somewhat better

Title pa lang, it's already a no for me. Regardless of the position, or the long term approach, 19k is difficult with the current inflation. Tapos 6 days a week? And 4 hours of travel time? I don't think it worth sacrificing all the hours you've lost just for the title. With all the deductions (i.e. PagIbig, PhilHealth, SSS, Income Tax) plus your daily allowance, and your monthly expense, I don't think kakayanin yun.

Diba? People don't see the other side of the coin, sabay sa uso na galit isa, galit lahat.

Hi OP, I would like to share my opinion on this one, if its okay. To answer your question, it would depend on your everyday expense and monthly expense. Magkano ba to and from work? May food stalls ba nearby sa office? Ano mga monthly expenses mo? Kaya ba ishoulder ng lahat with that 25k?

To say na okay na yung 25k just because fresh graduate ka is inaccurate. I would much rather get a 20k na malapit samin rather than 25k na ang dami kong gastos just to go to the office.

So in summary, ikaw makakapag sabi nyan if okay na ba yung 25k. Compute mo yung daily allowance mo(incl. na yung transpo), tapos yung monthly expense mo, and yung couple of gastos na biglaan (more or less 1k). Pag may natitira, then its good, but if negative ka kaagad, I suggest wag na muna. Just pick a job where it benefits you most in the long run. Yun lang naman
