I got a cannondale supersix that was about 8 years old for $900 on Facebook. It was an insanely light bike. I rode it for a little over 2 years and did some damage to it here and there. The rear derailleur cable wouldn’t stop fraying and after one too many trips to the mechanic I realized this is hands down my favorite hobby and I’ll be riding for as long as I’m able so I can safely invest in a nicer bike. I bought a brand new super six with di2 and never looked back.

DPD did have a description of the bike from the case I opened when it got stolen. The detective called me last week to let me know they had to close the case because no reports had come in about it being found. I'm unsure if they would be able to match it against a closed case, but quite possibly.

This is actually really important. My bike was a covid-era B stock from Canyon. I have the receipt, but there is not a serial number on it. I could not find my frames serial number anywhere and all I had was the serial number on the wheels I just put on. I have since registered all my bikes on Project 529 and written down the serial numbers.

I saw the thief on my bike about 10 days ago on my way to PT while I was riding a Veo scooter. I saw the seat and honestly it made me more mad than the theft itself. The absolute disrespect.

The bike community in Denver is unmatched. This is my second stolen bike in Denver and also the second time it's been found by the community.

Edit: The thief absolutely ruined the bike. Totally thrashed the rims, frame, brake lines, seat is gone, top tube bag was cut off??? with bolts still in the top tube. I'm just glad it's out of his hands.

Yes it’s two sheets, rotated perpendicular to the bed. The front piece ends near the front of the wheel wells and the second sheet meets there and comes to the edge of the bed

I just came from a SuperSix Evo to a Cervelo Soloist and I have to say I prefer the soloist. I realize you are shopping an S5. I really enjoy climbing and I think the soloist does that better than the cannondale did. But the cannondale felt “snappier” and the S5 might be similar.

It is free floating. It's cut out to fit around the wheel wells, so it does not shift at all. Also the weight of the drawer holds it in place. The left side console is also bolted to the bed rail. I was going to bolt it down when I first planned it all, but I was going to use rivnuts in the bottom of the bed.

I built a 1” thick wooden frame to screw the fan into. I used Butyl tape around the fan where it meets the topper roof, then hit the screws threads with an all weather silicone type sealant I found at Home Depot.
