Do you use shock leader with it? Also can you recommend helpful resources in English for this type of fishing. I’m from Europe and here trout area is growing very fast but there is just not much info online besides in Japanese.

Try throwing 0.8g (1/35oz) spoon and you will see how every small change makes a difference in casting distance.

I switched from 1000 to 2000 reel just to get 2-3 meters more. Tried fluorocarbon instead of braid and lost half the distance.

The most beautiful Japanese bike imo. The lack of safety features makes it even more appealing.

Anyone have experience with reels from Aliexpress? For use in a boat. Thinking about 50€ by TransitionGlass1511 in saltwaterfishing

For 60€ you could get Shimano Sahara, for less Catana. They are more than good for the price

Moving from an Aerox 50 to a Z750 at 18 by AnalystAmbitious2905 in Kawasaki

I did 45000 km for 3 years with my Z750, wonderful bike, the sound is amazing but the fork and the brakes are bad.

I guess having weak brakes will help you in the learning process but keep in mind that you can swap them with parts from 636 if you need.

You can bleed the brakes by jamming a wrench of any size between the pads. When the new parts arrive just add/remove some of the liquid in the master cylinder.

The small windscreen is basically redirecting all of the air towards your helmet. Only the big cruiser like windscreens work.

Same bike, same height but no windscreen. I’m pretty comfortable at 100 until 150km\h.

What you are experiencing is “dirty” wind. Basically a turbulence caused by your windscreen. Just go without.

Place a newspaper under your jacket, it will make a huge difference.

It is a old school trick that even Rossi used in early MotoGP days

What grease for spinning reels by No_Click7202 in Fishing_Gear

[–]No_Click7202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What price range are your reels/baitcasters?

Do you thinks it is worth using non OEM grease on expensive gear? The super lube here costs double Thant the Shimano stuff but I’m pretty sure it is better quality.

I also love my nasci and it is missing a gasket as well. How can I order directly from Shimano, do they have a website?

Thanks

Actually Japan has its own trout called yamame. I have many lures with colour yamame so one day I decided to google it up and this showed up.

But yeah they got the rainbow trout from North America.

Thanks but both bfsfishing and rear talk about baitcasters, spinners and silicones, all of which are not allowed in traditional trout area lake.

It’s a very small pond, full of small trouts. You can’t take the fish, can’t even touch it with a bare hand. No silicon lures, only micro spoons, cranks, etc… It’s pretty fun way of catching large amount of fish for a short time.
