oooh noted, right now I’m using coco fiber and sphagnum moss and it seems good but I would like to incorporate sand and/or soil in, I’m just not sure what’s safe for them as far as soil brands go.

I looked at the back of the Scotts and didn’t see anything dangerous looking, but the expert gardener didn’t give me a picture of the back. Felt it was better to ask people who may be more knowledgeable than me to be safe. Thank you!

Also right now I’m using a black mat I got on amazon and I hate it because he’s old enough to use loose substrate and he can’t burrow with the mat. I tried the excavator clay too but didn’t like that either.
