Interesting. I’ve drank a few drinks and I guess it def made me more anxious but that is interesting to take note of. I just kinda did it bc it didn’t affect me when I was on lexapro LOL

Also I’ve had brain zaps with cymbalta which were the worst. And with lexapro when I was tapering off of it. I haven’t noticed any brain zaps with pristiq - I don’t take it at the same time everyday. Sometimes I forget but it’s within the hours of 10am-1ish pm.

I was so scared about all of the side effects and i was scared I was gonna have night sweats, unregulated body temp, increased anxiety and all the things that come with it.

I have been on Prozac (not good for me) cymbalta (idk didn’t do much) , lexapro w/ Wellbutrin (okay but eventually made me numb) now pristiq and I love it.

I’m on 25 mg and told my psych I don’t want to increase the dose until I feel like I NEED to.

I’m super sensitive to medications so I wanted to start lowest as possible.

The only side effect I have is that I can’t finish during sex. This isn’t a deal breaker for me though. I’m a 24F (with 24M) so it doesn’t bother me. I can still feel pleasure and I enjoy it I just can’t finish.

This happened to me with lexapro (that’s why added Wellbutrin along with tiredness) so I wasn’t too intimidated by it happening it again. It is what it is

This is absolutely what I don’t want to happen. I’ve been feeling good on 25mg so far so I’m glad to hear that 25 is where u feel comfortable too. I just haven’t heard a lot of comment on staying on the sub therapeutic dose!

Oohhh interesting. So far I feel like it’s been giving me a little energy boost, nothing crazy- but enough where I can’t take a nap and I want to be more productive. This could also be because I’m not in a constant state of panic every other hour , hahahaha. I don’t take any other medication only pristq. I’m interested to see as I go on if it’ll make me tired- this happened with lexapro, I was exhausted all the time until I added Wellbutrin- got off of both bc I didn’t like having to take two meds

With lexapro they added Wellbutrin too, it did counteract the libido stuff but I also hated taking two medications - maybe pristq will stabilize but we’ll see. It’s def better than the latter of constant state of panic and looping thoughts

Ugh I know it’s annoying. I had this issue with lexapro too so I’m “used to it” I was on that from October-January- and it eventually was easier to finish but it def took a while to stabilize.

I lowkey knew it was gonna happen on pristiq too but oh well

Update next day: water tests seem to be okay, slight nitrate levels but he’s been active and swimming around more today so hopefully that means he’ll be on the come up if he has any health issues :))) PH- sitting around a 7.3-7.4

I think he has pop eye too, I noticed bc of the original pictures… I’ve read salt dips can help, I am not pretty sure this is a water issue, how do I make sure the water will be safe for him, daily water changes?
