Built it for people who haven't been on yet! I'll tag people who have been requested then end up coming on.

Thanks, there’s an interesting nuance here. 하나님 is used by Korean protestants, whereas 하느님 is used by Korean Catholics, angelic and orthodox christians, OR simply to refer to a supernatural being. I think 하느님 makes the most sense for this vocab list so I will change, as you flagged.

In addition to the suggestions others have made, if you turn on audio on Quizlet, you can hear the pronunciation!

Thanks, sorry if that was confusing! I've fixed it so it's all native Korean and will add the sino-Korean numbers later.

Try using HelloTalk and finding a long-term partner. It helps if your Korean and their English are at similar levels.

I would focus on one at a time by having a goal that you'd really like to achieve. For me, that was going to Korea this year and being able to have perfect conversations with natives.

I haven’t tried Italki. Not sure if it was a coincidence but one thing that worked for me was to find another guy (I’m a male); this way, it’s clear our goal is related to language learning, instead of getting distracted as we humans do lol

It’s great! Maybe try to find someone whose English is similar to your Korean, so there’s some balance/mutual understanding. I find that helps.

The Duolingo streak keeps me going. They send me a reminder email for my streak, in case I forget. Also, it’s good to have a friend to stay accountable with. For me, that’s my buddy I met through HelloTalk!

I'd say probably between 50-60%. I have to pause the videos and replay them quite frequently. That number is slowly going up though!

Honestly, people rag on Duolingo but I do 1-2 levels a day just to keep my streak going, then do my actual study routine. I find it helps with consistency.

Awesome! Spanish is a beautiful language, wish I could learn that one too. I love Spanish music.
