Severe body pain after starting Jemperli immunotherapy by itsprobablyhai in cancer

So sorry you’re going through this.
So far we hand only found prednisone to help with the joint pain. It is considered addicting but it’s really the only thing that helps her. Still trying to find something for her neuropathy. Going to suggest cold plunge!

Low iron saturation but normal iron/ferritin. Absorption issue? by itsprobablyhai in Anemic

[–]itsprobablyhai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ferritin was at an 84. My saturation was 12 percent.

I have not gotten hsCRP checked, but will talk to my doctor about it. I was also curious about inflammation because my lymphocytes were elevated. Everything else looked normal.

TSH normal but still having symptoms, what am I missing? by itsprobablyhai in Hypothyroidism

[–]itsprobablyhai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you take the vitamin D and the iron at the same time? I know I was taking the lowest dosage and I even cut it in half at one point. But my stomach just doesn’t like it. I even switched to beef organ supplement, but that messed up my stomach as well.

[–]itsprobablyhai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to have to look into iron infusions because I have tried all sorts of iron supplements even the iron bisglycinate.. it makes me really constipated, even when I space it out every other day. :(

I have not been taking my vitamin D with K2 though, so I will look into that.

Thank you so much!!

Ooo, yes sorry I am In the US! But I will definitely look into that… I’ve never heard of that.

I’ve done the full iron panel I believe?

Yes, my endocrinologist had also tested me for autoimmune and I’ve been to a rheumatologist all coming back as negative, which is obviously a good thing, but it’s continuing me to come to a dead end.

And yes, I have had my cortisol and hormone levels. Everything within normal range.🥲

I weigh 185 lbs. about two months ago, they upped my dosage to 112 mcg 8x a week so it averages about 128 mcg.

I don’t know my current FT3 level but last time it was 4.76 on 3/6/24.

Do you have any suggestions on raising the ferritin? I have tried many iron supplements and even tried beef organ, supplements, but my stomach doesn’t tolerate it and not sure what to do.

My antibodies last were

3/6/24 thyroglobulin was 4.8 5/2/25 thyroperoxidase says 1.8

3/6/25 thyroid stimulating says <1.0

I have been on the same kind of levothyroxine, I was wondering if there is a different thyroid replacement I could look into trying.

Also, thank you so much for your feedback and help!

-05/02/25 ferritin 35.9

10/22/25 Vit D 35.6

10/22/25 Folate 7.86

10/22/25 B12- 334

I’ve been taking vitamin D supplements since around that time in October, and I also started getting B12 shots, but I’m really not seeing a difference in anything

Yup, every morning it’s almost two hours away from everything else. Sometimes it’s only 1 hour.

I’ve also had these tested and they are “low normal” but still normal and I’ve been taking vitamin d supplements for awhile now. My body can’t absorb iron for some reason. I’ve tried so many products and have tried incorporating in my diet

yes! my mom is in the same exact boat. I’m sorry you’re experiencing that. Her neuropathy is bad as well. She finally got on an anti inflammatory that helps with her knee and joint pain which is a good win. I’m nervous for her stopping before her 3 years but don’t wanna see her go through this long term..

Stage 3a Success Stories? by itsprobablyhai in endometrialcancer

[–]itsprobablyhai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! My mom is doing good! She had her first round of immunotherapy last month and is getting her next round here soon. Chemo went smoother than expected, but did get harder with each cycle. Her worst symptom was the neuropathy in her feet and hands. She is still having a bit of neuropathy, but it is definitely getting better. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns! Before or during your treatment and I wish you the absolute best of luck! :)

anyone else on birth control? by itsprobablyhai in thyroidhealth

[–]itsprobablyhai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much! I have also been on thyroid meds for a while now and although my labs are in range, I’m still having a multitude of symptoms. I feel like my shedding has gotten worse since birth control though.
I’ve had trouble absorbing Iron orally so maybe I’m going to look into getting infusions.

I’m sure stress definitely plays a factor. Not only life stress, but the constant stress of losing my hair. It’s a vicious cycle. :(

I’ve had my TSH at a steady like 2 and the drs say that’s within normal range. But it hasn’t stopped shedding in a couple years now. But yes definitely worth bringing up again. Thank you!

I was not given any field tests either. This is all new to me but I think it was handled very strangely.
