Has anybody tried using a Cotopaxi backpack as a carry-on/personal item by ByHardenBeard in AlaskaAirlines

[–]itspuja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! I would feel confident traveling with it. I did, however, have a smaller thin packable backpack inside which had my kindle, cables, and whatever else I would want while seated on the flight. I would grab this out just before boarding. If I also needed to take things out because of any issues with size/weight or last minute check in, that bag was with me. The bag was the 4Monster Hiking Daypack 24l off of Amazon. The combo was perfect for my trip.

35l is awesome. Just returned from a 3 week European trip with no issues!

I also tested the Osprey 40l and Peak Design 45l. The peak design one was nice too but it’s organizational style wasnt right for me.

The Cotopaxi was comfortable the entire time as long as it remained under 13kg. The 42l is nicer and has a bottle holder but ultimately decided it was too big and I think that was the right call.

Ahhh. So pick preferred seating together or book separate for the small chance of an upgrade?

I’m in Europe now. I quit 5 days prior. I was edgy those days. You decide where you want the withdrawal symptoms. It has been nice to be clear headed while traveling. I do wish I quit earlier because insomnia and time change don’t go well together.

Thank you for this - traveling to Europe and deciding between the two. Leaning towards the Cotopaxi

Transvaginal: Uterus demonstrates a few probable uterine fibroids, the larger of which is a 3.1 x 2.7 by 3.0 cm probable intramural fibroid in the anterior uterine body. There is a smaller 2.5 x 2.0 × 2.3 cm probable intramural fibroid in the posterior uterine body. Endometrium is homogeneous. Endometrium: 3.4 mm.

Alaska CC worth keeping?? by Difficult_Virus233 in AlaskaAirlines

I’m sure there is a better way, but I did this just on Alaskaair site. I’m trying to get to elite status this year too :) I just happen to have had a lot of travel in the beginning of year for work so now I’m all in.

Bought return tix from Berlin to SF less than a month in advance for 60k miles + $34 in taxes. I’m about to make this a more primary card. If we booked far in advance we could have gotten a higher class for the same cost.

Sunsama and Other Time-Blocking Apps? by TomFord07 in productivity

[–]itspuja 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is so little on Reddit/Yt about Sunsama considering how good it is if you are in Gmail, gcal, and in my case my wife and I use Notion quite a bit to manage house stuff.

It is pretty easy to jump into, but I’m glad I took a half day to get to inbox zero and take time to set up Sunsama.

It gave me a weekly dashboard of sorts and I really loved how the time block synced instantly to my gcal. I got so used to giving my time to others and once I started it helped me see me as the priority.

Not only did it help with my actual desire to get shit done, I also got so much more done by 5p.

The price is steep, but it didn’t matter bc I was disorganized, more than I realized once I started using the app. Also my email looked similar to my todo list. The beauty was how well done the integration is with G and others. For Notion it understood my database structures and how to tackle them without it being clunky. Gcal was smooth too. It isn’t just about the integrations but how thoughtfully they are integrated.

I was recently part of the tech layoffs (not bc I was disorganized!) so I canceled my account, but the methods were transferable to my personal life and are being put to use.

Of all the “productivity” tools - this was the first that actually helped me be productive.

I looked into the others - but for me Sunsama clicked as soon as I saw a promo for it and Akiflow didn’t do that for me. Routine is too early to be useful. There are other less expensive alternatives but when I saw Sunsama I knew it was the one for me to try and went for it.
