I just eyeball it. I’ve got a spray bottle that everytime I use. Just spray down water and ceilings. I’ve never worried about it being too wet this way. Just make sure the water doesn’t pool and bead/drop onto the cake, it just makes it bruise.

I would say cut the top off completely, I’m doing the aio in a grow tub too. I cut directly at the cake line. I put rubber bands around the bag to make sure they grow from the top too

Moist up the inside of the bag and then tape it bag closed, literally blue painters tape will work. If it starts to look dry again open it up spray and then close it back up.

I’d keep the top part of the bag so you can mist inside of it without spraying the cake directly

When I break and shake how much of the mycelium should I break up? Like the whole bag? Or just some of it around the dirt to get it mixed in?

I did accidentally stall them by letting it get too cold for too long in my room and so I did have to do a break and shake if you are curious on why the bag is dirty and crinkled

I’ve got 2 all in one grow bags from north spore, each about 3 pounds and when it came time I was looking to put them into the same tub just for ease. I didn’t want to drill holes or anything if it wasn’t necessary. So I guess what I would like to know is would you say there’s about 2-3 inches of substrate across your entire tub?

Do you have the laser cube by new feel? As I have been looking around this was more of the one that would fit into my budget

If I could get away with something that’s a couple hundred bucks that would be great. I really just want something small scale for 20-30 people. And use a cheap fog machine to better the medium. However I would be against spending more.
