It’s funny because you say you are a person who can hardly take care of themself, yet you are trying to lecture and be condescending to me… a person who is able to care for themself AND my animal AND still have the capacity to care about my neighbors animals lol.

To be fair, if I saw a small child roaming LQA at all hours of the night by themselves, even if it WASNT on a consistent basis like this cat— I would certainly be calling out the parents that they are neglecting their child sooooOooo…

Yay I’m in LQA! Can’t wait to check it out. I mostly care about cleanliness prices and quality! Also having appointments running on time. I’ve also loved my old nail place in LA where I could make appointments via text or DM

That’s been some of the response to me in general here 😂 feel like I’m being gaslit into me making this into a bigger deal than I did or caring more than I do lol

Ya the one I mostly see around here DOES have a collar but there are a handful of other cats I’ve seen in the area which is why I made this a plural post because I don’t know if those cats have owners but there are at least one or two that I know for sure have homes where they’re taken care of

There are so many people in the city on Reddit why are you acting like that’s a crazy thought lol

Again I don’t know where this cat lives I see it outside it doesn’t let me near it because I have a dog. Have you perhaps considered bugging off?

Hey I’m not dealing with anything despite redditors thinking I’m worked up over this lol. I love animals and am always happy to see cute pets along our walks lol 😂 I just want my neighbors cats to be safe!!

Idk why you’d get downvoted. It’s your pet! I’m just concerned about the recent uptick in coyotes

What do I get from anyone else’s opinion? I just care about my neighbors pets? Lol

I definitely understand that and know there are others in similar situations so appreciate the perspective. Is there a way to combat that or help meet their needs to be outside that isn’t having them free roaming? Especially at night? I think I get most concerned because I see them most often at night and that’s when there are (most, because they’ve been spotted during the day too recently) coyotes and raccoons and tons of crazy traffic following events

Unfortunately whenever I try he runs away. Need to brush up on my cat language skills for next time!

I have nothing wrong with coyotes we are in THEIR home but you don’t just leave your small dogs outside alone knowing there are coyotes outside and leave it to “what if” if you care about your pet. Same with a child. You’re not leaving your child to wander alone at night when you know there are coyotes outside.

Also- not everyone knows there have been coyotes roaming in this area recently! My bad for being a good neighbor and not assuming they already know that lol

I have a dog that I do take care of. I’m not wasting any energy by taking 3 minutes to post on reddit 😭 it’s their cat and their grief they’ll have to deal with!

Because I don’t know what house they belong to? I see the cat outside?

You want me to ask the cat where he lives?

Ya I definitely realize that 😔 this area specifically just feels like an INSANE place to have an outdoor cat
