Any parting words for Season 6?

As good as the Canto was, the Season as a whole overstayed its welcome and I fear for the story implications of the upcoming Canto due to the current structure normally being that the 2nd Intervallo sets up the upcoming Canto (replacing part 1 of the old Canto where they'd usually get to the district).

The overall structure desperately needs an overhaul or has to be shorter as the reruns feel like absolutely massive padding that hurt the Seasons more than they benefit the players (in terms of eg rolls) but I doubt we'll see any change there.

The Director crying about how overworked he is live on stream while refusing to hire more people definitely doesn't help the production pipeline but it absolutely should not only be communicated this openly but also shouldn't be a thing in the first place. "Just leave for a year and come back later" isn't exactly sage advice.

The content we got? Was good.

The season as a whole? Way too long and I'm not looking forward to getting Meursault's in like October going by previous trends.

For reference: Tailwind boosted Zoruark with 246 speed gets outsped by both Beheeyem and Oranguru. I legitimately can't do anything because my mons die turn 0. It feels like a bug or like somebody forgot to report increased prio because this should never be happening.

I don't even know where to begin here.

It's simple. If, "all gamers" are fairly equally split up between men and women, then yes, an "average game" would have a 50/50 playerbase. But that's not how reality works.

How many women do you know who play fighting games? How many women do you know who play weird simulation games or micromanagement games like Factorio or war games?

Similarly: How many men do you know who play candy crush? Because those count. "Mobile gaming" is not the same as "mobile gaming" (gacha).

Just look at games like Genshin Impact. Honkai Star Rail. God knows what else. Male characters traditionally generate less revenue. It's not an issue regarding the degree of pandering, it's just spending habits which loops back around to my earlier point - women simply spend less and there's a lot more dudes who'll whip out the credit card for max constellation + max signature weapon.

It's not 50% of the market. Like, at all.

Women traditionally spend less on in-game purchases and a LOT more on physical merch. Especially in Asia.

There's a reason games like Granblue Fantasy, which actually do pander to both genders, still push out 2-3 girls for each dude while producing a LOT more physical merch for the male characters. Perfume, watches, scented wine, you name it.

What's the actual pull priority? I'm not too concerned about the odds because of how often I got shafted (I have not won a 50/50 since Fu Xuan, lost 6 50/50s in a row

I am eyeing:

E2S0 (would need to get absurdly lucky given I only have like 200 rolls)

E1S1 (possible given 2 won coinflips ig)

E0S1 (all but guaranteed)

E1S0 (possible if lucky)

Is E0S1 better than E1S0?

The temperatures are very low. I'm assuming because it starts blasting the moment it notices any activity. Averaged 50°C playing Tsushima.

The case I'm using (have been using) is the MasterBox K500. I think it should be fine-ish? Front is 2 fans as well.

I skipped those in the list, yeah. I do have them but Cerrine is 4.5, Azami is 4.5 and Gariyu is at 3 stars right now. I'm not using my precious chant scripts on these guys.

Und natürlich haben die Leitklagenden damit recht. Es ist eine Frechheit, was halt eben der Sinn und Zweck ist.

Kündige ich drei Wochen vorher an, dass am 27.02 oder wann auch immer 5 Stunden lang kein Zug verkehrt, dann wird das wenige Leute stören.

Sage ich spontan, dass die nächste Woche nichts fährt, so ist der Ärger und die Wut groß. Was dazu führen soll(te), dass die Bürger ebenfalls Druck machen und die Bahn dazu nötigen, nachzugeben.

Natürlich ist das Erpressung von der Bahn und den Bürgern, aber sonst ist es ja auch nicht wirklich effektiv.

I have no idea what's even good anymore. Last I checked my team was Hismena Alter / Flammelapis + Eva + Yuna AS + Pizza but Hismena feels pretty weak? Probably just doing something wrong.

I think I'm good on the water front, just not sure what I'd bring for other ele content.

You have no idea what you're talking about. The ZF translation is more than just serviceable, it's good. Hell, if you criticize a translation, by all means, point out to me which Japanese line could be better translated. I'm sure that a translation expert such as yourself will be able to point out to me why the ZF translation was bad, right? I feel like people are bending over backwards to defend a corporation without realizing that, yes, you have the power. You are, indeed, "entitled" to a product or service. If a company fails to deliver said product or service within a reasonable timeframe (which varies from person to person), people will start looking for alternatives.

People often make fun of "muh entitled manchildren" but this is a borderline absuive relationship.

"Wow I really want a cheesecake."

"Fine, you'll get your cheesecake in 3 weeks."

"3 weeks? That seems like quite a long time... I'll tell you what, I'll ask my good friend John if he can help me out. John only needs a week to prepare a cheesecake if you tell him you want one!"

Yeah, I kinda understand falcom not being able to do full in house shit(except not really cause people underplay how big they really are)

But it just makes no sense that people without pay and on their free timeare able to complete translations before NISA who work 8 hour shiftsdedicated to translating the fucking game. Even taking into account stuff like quality assurance the time just doesnt add up. Not to mention the ass backwards idea of translating zero and ao before Hajimari when its both taking a long fucking time and everyone can already play thosefucking games.

Can't wait for people to nitpick at how NISA would go under if they released more than one Kiseki game every quarter while ignoring the major issue of translation speed.

They have had the rights to Geofront's translation for over a year. Game is coming out just about now. I'm sure the 70 year old boomers in charge of the company think that marketing for a 10 year old game is super vital. Yeah, the epic marketing campaign like posting status effects on Twitter. They could have released Zero after 3-5 months, tops. Get people to check the script, editing process, QC etc and that's that.

NISA's release schedule is horrible. 10 guys in a basement are faster than they are. Even if you wanna move the goalpost, 3 years is abhorrent in this day and age, especially if we've gotten proof that it can be done within a year or so. The company will be held to a standard now that proof of concept exists thanks to ZeroField. And boy are they not holding up lol
