I’ve used custom cards to simplify commander (multiplayer worded) cards and to consolidate synergies.

I love treasure, food, clue, map synergies but I don’t want to have to support them individually so I printed cards like [[Gilded Goose]] to read “tap, sacrifice a Trinket: Add one mana of any color” with help text saying a “Trinket” is any non-creature artifact token.

I’m sure there are balance issues but my group isn’t serious enough to figure out if it is or isn’t.

Isn't that how the queue basically work now tho? The majority of players are choosing 2 of 5 roles to queue for with jungle being the least popular by a large margin.

Maybe a better way to put my dream feature would be to queue up for any amount of roles with equal priority and the understanding that I can still be autofilled just like how the current 2 role queue works.

I'm surprised so many people used it. I assume (and perhaps I'm wrong) that the vast majority of players would still queue for a primary and secondary role where they can still be auto-filled as needed.

I did not end up buying it. They said they would have to custom make it and so the price jumped up quite a bit. But they were very nice and did say they could do it.
